I really like the idea of them using the MEME. My favourite!! :D :D Hmmmn. I know it has been awhile since I made a video and I’m not good in making videos but here’s my first attempt using iMovie! My vlog response to the video above! Please don’t laugh too hard! :p

I would love to thank both Natalie and Cindy for helping me in this video. Thank you for your time! I know we had limited time to do this but hey, I know we all had fun! Please forgive me in my not-so-good editing. I will brush up my skills more in the future, if needed.

Not too long ago, I was given a chance to test drive the latest Volkswagen Polo Sedan 1.6 for 2 days! It was my first test drive of my 5 years’ on the road. I’m not a car or a tech person. I’m just a typical 9-5 worker cum casual blogger hence, I cannot write you a very detailed post of the car neither a technical review of it. I’m just gonna share my experience with the car from my personal point of view here with my dear readers, as a typical 24 year old KL girl. :D

Compared to my little car, the Volkswagen Polo Sedan was a little bulkier and it made me really nervous when I first got into the car. And when I realised I needed to drive it from Bangsar back to Cheras during the rush hours. It isn’t easy driving in KL if you already know, what more when you are driving a car that does not belong to you! Haha. But lucky I got myself calmed down after awhile on the wheels and it was really enjoyable and nice driving it to be honest!

The 2 days’ test drive wasn’t a long period but I drove it to many places and spent enough time to judge it. I had it to work, to night school, to night market, at the alleys of Cheras, at the highway, under the glaring sun, under the pouring rain, during rush hours and during the quiet night. Haha. The 2 days’ affair made me believe that I’ve really owned the car! Oh how I wished..

Volkswagen Polo Sedan was quiet. Driving it was smooth and peaceful. And with its 1.6-litre naturally aspirated engine, accelerating and pick-ups of the car were smooth too! It must be the 6-speed tiptronic auto transmission that helps improving the acceleration. It didn’t felt like I was on high speed when driving the car because it was way too quiet and smooth. But of course, I was obedient on the road. Safety comes first even when I need to test the car out :)

Speaking of that, this is surely one well-equipped car with various safety features. It has 4 safety air bags – at the driver and front passenger’s seats as well as the sides too. It has the electronic brake distribution function. It is one great safety feature where it will distribute the braking forces between front and rear axles while have the car stability controlled. You can actually search about this function on the net, if you are interested! And wow, I sound like something eh? Not actually, my brother taught me about this!

For a petite girl like me, the awesome leather-wrapped steering wheel is really awesome! It does not require much energy or hard effort to make turns. One big feature that I’m in love with!

Then to another favourable feature of the car – the interior storage and compartments! There are various of compartments in the car which allow you to place and store hell loads of personal stuffs. Right below the audio system, space ahead the gear knob, the side doors, the space in front of the passenger seat and lastly, it’s incredibly spacious car boot! The car seats can be folded if more space is needed too. The car boot is definitely one of the biggest selling points to the Volkswagen lovers out there. It’s so huge that it could possibly fit 5 girls of my size.

Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of it because it started to rain when I wanted to take more pictures of the car outdoor T_T

Another point that I would love to highlight is probably the air-con. I love how well the air-con and its air are distributed to everyone in the vehicle. I am actually facing problems with most of the cars’ air-con. It’s always too cold or too stuffy.

And on top of all features above, the interiors’ design is something I really like too. I like how minimalist and elegant it is. It’s curve and edges complimented to the design too.

I’m not too sure about the fuel consumption because I can judge it by driving it just for 2 days but I can tell that the indication of the fuel was still indicated as full on the day I returned the car, after driving from Bangsar to Cheras, from Cheras to Sri Petaling back and forth, then from Cheras to Taman Desa, from there to Bukit Bintang and back to Cheras. Lastly, back to Bangsar!

Picture above is the leather-wrapped gear knob. I was told that the car comes with a Sports gear mode indicated “S” above but I didn’t get to try it out. I just wished I had more time with it. And guess what! This car will now be in my consideration list if I were rich enough to change a car because this is yet an affordable model by the ever-famous Volkswagen! Psst! Overall, I think it is one great car to travel with. I really like those features as mentioned above and it was really a pleasure having it for 2 days :)

Just early this month, I was invited by La Senza and Nuffnang to attend their very first La Senza New Pin-Up Store Launch at 1 Utama. This concept store is inspired by the iconic 1950’s pin-up girls! And that’s sexy.

Now, get ready for the very pinkish, hot and sexy pictures already!

#01 Located on the first floor of the mall, the walkway in front of the store was decorated with fuchsia balloons and gathered with guest, bloggers, media and celebrities.. Except for me, everyone looked wonderful and gorgeous. The store was carefully shielded by the board of black and pink polka dots so the store, its stuff and its decor remained to be a suspense for all.

#02 Upon arrival, the medias were given a goodie bag each and  served by all these sweet and pinkish treats! The macaroon was good!

#03 They all looked too good for us to actually start picking them up and munch. Everyone threw the same question to the person next to us, “Are these edible?”

#04 Another reason why the question popped up – La Senza even served super sexy cupcakes! /whistles

#05 After a short introduction by the emcee-in-charge, it was announced that the store will be opened. Yes, it happened sexily right in front of our eyes.

#06 Jeng jeng jeng~~ The anticipation the girls and guys have been waiting for!

#07 The La Senza New Pin-Up Concept Store is now officially opened!!! Set to impress, the store offers a fresh design and layout that is characterized by flirty, feminine, fun polka-dots and sassy in-store artwork, a reflection of La Senza’s fashion loving customers. With this timeless image and strong emotional contents, the new iconic ‘Pin-up’ brand image connects with the young, aspiring individuals.

#08 And here we go! Right after the shop was opened and revealed, there were DJ Patricia K (middle) and two hot dancers who were performing sexily on stage. They look really hot in the lingerie and the sexy dance moves. These girls created havoc among the videographers and photographers who attended the event too.

#09 After the performances, the celebrities came up front for a group photo. Spot Ana Rivera, Amber Chia, Hannah Tan, Serena C, Atilia Haron and many more. Ana Rivera, the Hong Kong top supermodel was specially-flown in to jazz up the event. From what I knew, she’s actually very very much in love with La Senza and the lingerie it offers too.

#11 Now, here starts the bra shopping!

#12 The girls, whether the celebrities or the bloggers were all so excited over the varieties in the concept store. I can see it from their glowing eyes when they stare at the undergarments. Even supermodels Ana R and Amber Chia shopped like there is no tomorrow. I saw their choices and outcome of shopping, it looked like my one-year’s shopping stuff for undergarment.

#13 And with its new Holiday Collection themed as ‘Santa Babies’ this year, La Senza is sure to bring out the sexy, obvious and all-out attitude in every consumer. Alluring laces, comfortable cottons and body lifting push-ups at value prices are certainly up for grabs!

#16 In the same event, I’ve bumped into the long-time-no-see Andrea Kee who currently is a fashion writer for Female magazine. I’m so happy to have bumped into her!! Just like me, she’s another rainbow lover.

#18 The very lucky me got to take a picture with the supermodel too :) I look like a chubby kid beside her. And please do excuse me for being under dressed because I rushed to the event after errands and I just didn’t had the time to doll up :( Despite that, everything was really good, nice, sweet, pinkish, sexy and sassy! I really had my eye opened and jaw dropped for the choices of La Senza’s under garments, once again.

#19 Remember the goodie bag prepared for the media and guest earlier? This is it, designed similarly to the store.

#20 In the bag, there are toiletries pouch, a shopping voucher, a flash disk, and a tin of marshmallow. Still pink, sweet and sexy. Haha.

#23 However, I have yet to get any new pieces from La Senza yet. I’ve promised myself to visit the store again with my mum and girlfriends. It will be fun! :) And yes, it is a must for all females to visit the store because it will continue provide latest and compelling product stories, offering in-store experience that emphasizes on fashion lifestyle to ensure every customer walks out perfectly fitted with the expert bra fittings.

This is one of my very rare vlog entries because I cannot speak well but yeah, here is it.. talking about Hotlink Prepaid Data Roaming. You guys do remember my previous blog post that mentioned about how much I love Astro B.yond PVR right… because it made my life easier and saved my time for TV!

Well it did work well for me and my family – less argument over TV and less time spent to wait for the show’s schedule. Also, it did save me a lot because I have been very busy and have been missing out a lot of TV programmes that I love. I get to watch and re-watch shows I want and when I want :)

Moreover, I’m having classes during the weekdays and I wont be watching the dramas I love on time as usual, that’s where this set helped me a lot.

And recently, I have been spending most of my Sunday out of home and I have been missing the series of Astro Star Quest!

I heard that the contestants are really good but I haven’t got to watch them. Plus, there are really a lot of programmes to catch up on Sundays. A lot of good Taiwan game shows and all.
