Woofie Everyone!
Aunty Vvens has been so busy with work (and ahem, falling in love) lately that there’s simply no time for her to do her blogging these couple of weeks. And since all I do is laze around at home, I’ve been tasked to type my story in this pwetty pink space.
First o’ all, let me introduce myself.
My name is Cooper and I’m a Golden Retriever. Here’s a recent picture of me in my new blue tag :P
I was born on 6 July 2010, so that makes me two years old in three more months! I still behave very much like a puppy though.
People say I’m an angmoh dog because of my blonde hair, double eyelids and big, brown eyes that sometimes glisten like gold under the Sun.
My mummy first met me on 2 September 2010. I was only eight weeks old. There were six of us and I was the leader of the pack. *Beams with pride*
I’m the one furthest to the left! You can see that my bowl is fuller than the rest of my brothers and sisters because my caretaker used to feed me last. That’s because I’m the fastest eater and I’d finish up my food real quick and snatch the remaining noms left in the bowls meant for my siblings. I’m a big bully like that.
That’s me on the far right with my cream coloured brother, Dash, and my brown brother whom I’ve lost contact with.
That’s me going up to mummy for the very first time in my life. I was curious about that thing she was holding that made snappy sounds, which I later found out was what humans call the Camera.
This is me chilling on a curb before mummy left. Can’t believe I used to fit into that small space!
On 20 September 2010, mummy and her friends brought me home in a box.
“Are you my mummy?” I asked.
For a few weeks I stayed in my play pen until I was house broken. I learnt how to pee in the pee tray.
When I turned 4 months old, I visited the dog park for the first time and met my brother, Dash, coincidentally! I’m the one on the right by the way.
We spent some time wrestling…
And laying next to each other…
And before we parted, he gave me a kiss!
I sure miss that dude.
Mummy walks me once or twice a day, depending on her schedule. Here’s a picture of me in the park.
There was once it rained so heavily on our way back. We took shelter under a block and I fell asleep on mummy’s lap.
Sometimes, dahdee (mummy’s bf) would bring us to the reservoir nearby.
This is my favourite picture of dahdee and me!
Back at home, I play with my toys. I used to have tonnes of soft toys until my teeth became too strong for them.
That’s me at 6 months old. I was quite a bald kid.
This is me now. Rubber toys became my new favourite! And yes sometimes I can cleverly stack toys.
My favourite expression has to be my famous please-play-with-me puppy eyes.

I can even do it standing up.
I kind of enjoy balancing a tennis ball on my head too. I’m an acrobat like that.

My life since the puppy days has more or less been the same, just that I’m loved by more and more people daily :)
Oh oh, my fur grew out a lot too, but it’s not the full length yet, so mummy has to use my bath towel to tame my stray ends after shower. I hate it because it makes me look gay.
But it makes me a handsome young lad when I’m all dry!
I’d love to talk more about myself, but mummy says it’s bedtime, so I should probably end my entry soon!
Today, I learnt how to blog, thanks to Aunty Vvens. I love trying new things and embarking on new adventures! I hope that everyone who read about me today can stay as positive as myself, and not be afraid to explore into the wild. Who knows what you may find? Like me, I blogged with paws :)
Good night everyone!

Woofie Love,
Cooper Wee Ah-Jin
