I’m back from Singapore, the yearly routine trip when the family gathers. However, it was a little special this time because Daryl accompanied me throughout the trip! Also, the family spent 24 hours in the country’s icon – Marina Bay Sands Hotel for something different too. Here, I would like to thank my buddy, Aaron the Bruce Lee for helping me to get the rooms despite the peak season. Thank you :)
We started the journey to MBS on sunny Saturday noon. And that’s why I get to capture really nice pictures there! Here are just few of the many pictures taken during that day. These pictures are edited to be slightly purple and retro too :)
#01 This is the view from the balcony of the room we stayed. It was as high as 31 floors of the ground. The room we stayed was placed and faced against the Marina Sky Park and botanical gardens.
#02 After we settled down in the room, we headed straight up to the 57th floor for the infinity pool! :D :D
#03 The pool was so pack but the atmosphere was really good. Unfortunately I can’t dip myself in the pool.
#04 Every other cousins and sibling went into the pool and had lotsa fun!
#05 Swimming like a boss. Haha.
#06 One of my favourite pictures captured on that day itself.
#07 After seeing the kids swim, I decided to walk around and headed to the observatory deck with Daryl.
#08 The view from the top was awesome but I just cannot pull it through the heights. I had jelly legs.
#09 Our silhouettes <3
#10 Us <3
#11 And our heart <3
#12 Vain me trying to snap a picture with the beautiful blue sky.
#13 The dusky purple sunset. This picture was taken when we headed back to the room.
#14 Lights at night in the Sky Park.
#15 Then once again, we headed back to the observatory deck for the night scene! So beautiful!
#16 The lights of cars, streets and Singapore Flyer.
#17 A family picture with the Singapore night scene.
#18 Last but not least, a fully gathered picture of those who attended the trip. Inclusive of boyfriends too! :D
On the other days during Singapore, I went to the usual places like my aunt’s nail spa shop, Junction 8 at Bishan, Bugis Junction, Bugis Street and the new Bugis Plus. I spend the nights staying in Kam Leng Hotel at Jalan Besar too. The hotel was vintage, pretty and rather convenient too! :D And this is all about my visit in Marina Bay Sands. No, I did not visit the shopping gallery. Not the casino nor the Sky Park too. We had limited time and these were all we could do. Maybe next time again!
Another trip to the places that I’ve missed out during this trip. Another trip to be a total tourist and hop on their duck & hippo tours! Another trip to Sentosa Island! But the place that I would love to visit next is actually Legoland! Anyone been there yet? Tell me about it! :D
