That 35 Days

And these were how I looked everyday for the last 35 days. Column one to column seven represents Monday to Sunday respectively and row one to row 5 represents weeks. And throughout the 5 weeks, I had worn 4 same outfits twice, which are the black and white combination, grey tank, white plain tew and blue v neck tee (all twice). I dislike repeats but sometimes I have no choice. And with these pictures, I also noticed that my fringe are growing longer and longer from week to week. Hehehe. What else can I conclude from these pictures? Erm, my television are sometimes on and sometimes off. I usually took these pictures in the day time as you can judge from the sunlight behind me. All my smiles and the pouts are the same. I sometimes wear glasses for no special reasons. I dont like to tie my hair. And no matter what, I will still wear my not-so-pretty pendant. Haha :D

This is fun. Maybe you should try it too!

Edit : Here are my BFFs' work :D

Click here to view Chiam Carmen better. Hehehe.

Click here to see Mr. Kuah. Hahahahaha.

The Hotties and The Nottie

I think my title sounds like, or it is the title of the not-so-new Paris Hilton's movie (not available in Malaysia's cinema). Haha. This post is a tag post I delayed for quite sometime already until I dont remember who tagged me. But its okay. This is an interesting tag where you should post and talk about 9 HOT men and 1 NOT. You can call it the drooling tag. Hahahaha. But you will stop drooling at the end of the post because there is a NOT :)

Hottie #01

Name : Jay Chou, Zhou Jie Lun
Age : 26 years old and 40 months :)
Hot meh? : Obviously, its gonna be Jay Chou right. I know he may not be hot to a lot of people but seriously, he is to me. Most of the time he looks dumb and cool. I think the hottest thing about him is his talent that made me adore him so much. He has hot voice okay. He look hottest when he plays piano and sings. And he looks hottest when he has his fringe back of his forehead. Click
here to see how hot can he be without the fringe covering his forehead! :)

Hottie #02

Name : Daniel Wu, Wu Yan Zu
Age : 33
Hot lor! : Even guys think that he is hot! Hahahahahaha. I am not a big fan of him but I will watch his movies and watched majorities of his movie. I like the bad guy him in "New Police Story" when he said, "I'll not repeat my words twice!" So hot can melt. Hahahaha. The hottest thing about him is his lips!!! He also pouts them one.

Hottie #03

Name : Edison Chen, Chen Guan Xi
Age : 27
Still hot ka? : Yes, even after the sex scandal. I think he is hot but not so hot already. The hottest thing about him is his eyes I think. Haha. And did you know I did a presentation about him and his sex scandal in one of the college's assesment. My result was satisfying leh! Hahahaha. I like his movies too but too bad he is not going to be in any of the movies anytime soon :(

Hottie #04

Name : Louis Koo, Gu Tin Lok
Age : 38 already wor..
Old hottie! : Hahaha so what if he is old already. He is still hot. I like all the TVB series that he is in. I watched like all of them even his comedies one. Damn funny. Hahahaha. Hottest thing about him is that he looks very good in the tanned skin. Hehe. There is only once that I think he doesnt look hot, in the movie Protege. Haha.

Hottie #05

Name : Takeshi Kaneshiro, Jin Cheng Wu
Age : According to Wikipedia, he is only 34!
Sizzlin' hot weh : Hahahaha. Super hot. I cannot tahan but to stare at this poster of his outside 1Utama everytime I pass by that place. I know you do too, dont lie!

Hottie #06

Name : Mike He, He Jun Xiang
Age : 24
HOT! : Some people says he looks like Jay Chou in some angles. Hahaha. Yes sometimes lar. But he is somehow somewhat hotter than Jay Chou, the looks lar. I love his brows. I love his eyes, can kill. But to some people, he is not hot but a pretty guy. Very man to me though. Hahahaha. I love his dramas, "Devil Besides You" and "Why Why Love". Damn nice. He is very very very mean in the show but cannot resist to like him too. Hahahahaha. And I think the hottest thing about him besides his eyes and brows, is his hair! Do you know how much I dislike guy having long hair? Super super super hate it. But I think he is the only guy (in a million) who I think looks good in long hair! WA! *faint* But wait, I am also not a big fan of him. Just thought he is very leng chai.

Hottie #07

Name : Jason, Ruan Jing Tian
Age : 25
Hot? Huh? : Most of you may not know him because he is somewhat a new actor in Taiwan, but always a top model there. I think he is hot because I have been watching his drama, "Fated To Love You" now. The hottest thing about him is his eyes and brows too. Hahaha. You guys must watch this drama. This is a very very unique and funny story. Oh, he is not Ming Dao okie.

Hottie #08

Name : Shinichi Kudo, Xin Yi
Age : 17 in the anime
Haha. Hot? : Yes, because he is damn smart. Hahahahahahaha. Very smart. I love the anime, Detective Conan a lot a lot a lot! And Shinichi actually looks like someone significant to me. Hehe.

Hottie #09

To me, these are all the hot guys in the Asian entertainment industry. I super cina one. All the guys I like also cina. And the last hottie, I'll save it for myself. My mr. I-have-a-crush-on-you. Hehehe. And he actually has or should have some of the features I like, I mentioned above. Hahahahahha.

The Nottie!

I think I'm giving him some attention. I'll try to make this short.

Name : Kenji Wu, Wu Ke Qun
Age : 29
YER : Look at him! Yer! How dare him to call Jay his slave of music. Saying Jay overshadowed him. And he will over take Jay's place within 3 years. Hello. You got mirror at home or not? This is like your second year already right? Haih. So pathetic. Everytime also copy Jay's music. Your new song, "Write poem for you" also copy Jay's "Common Orane Jasmine" one lor. The concept, even the poster. And dont sing "Yo yo yo" because you said those who sings that are losers. EEW. Okie. Enough already. I'm polluting my blog. Enough attention for him. Too much more to mention. Who wanna join Natalie and I in Anti Wu Ke Qun club? Hehehehehe.

And I tag all the girls in my blogroll :) WEE. I wanna see hot guys. *Leaving in a rush*

Thank You

For the un-seen love and care. For the love you gave but not shown directly. For the shelther you gave me. For the money and effort you spent on me. For the early mornings that you sent me to school, I know how it feels now. For the breakfast you sometimes prepare for me but I do not take them. For washing and ironing my clothes, I'll get a washing machine for you if I win the Rm10k ;p For the money when I have none to feed my Tofu. For the soya bean you buy everyday in the market. For sharing clothes with me. For the RM30 prepaid card. For the pimple blemish cream. For Astro On Demand. For the farts you "released" in my room. For your tolerance on me. Also the tolerance you gave on me and my Mr. Jay. For my favourite ABC soup. For liking my friends. For not controlling my studies, friends I mix with and the boys I like. For what you gave me in my biological genes, but I dont like the wrinkles I have on my neck :( For the blue skinnies you bought for me yesterday. And counting....

Thank you.

Happy Mothers' Day and Happy Birthday, Mum.

p/s : And I'm kinda broke, I cannot buy you Louis Vuitton and this is the best I can afford now. Hope you'll like it when you receive it tonight.

Barbequed Carrots

I am now done with the internship officially. And I went back to college since yesterday. It was a terrible day for me man. I was supposed to pick up Cindy at Sri Petaling to college together but I took the wrong turning at Bukit Jalil. Guess what? I ended up in KLIA. Freaking KLIA. Which is so so so so far away from town. Once I turned into that turning, I knew it was wrong and I was trying hard to get a U-turn or some small turnings back to KL but the road was straight, all the way. To me at that moment, it doesnt seem to have any end. I was trembling, nervous because I was all alone and I knew, I would be late for my freaking first class of the year. And it was Moral Education. What can be worst? I only get to turn back to KL ater 1 hour plus the traffic jam everywhere. IT WAS SAD OK. By the time I reached college, the class was over already. AHH! :(

Okay, forget about it! And do you know how much I miss working in Carrot Films. I cant pay attention in classes now because I cant play Facebook in the morning anymore. AHH! I really miss working with my fun colleagues :) And also, right before I come back to college, Mr. Assistant Director, Cheong had a house warming BBQ party at his place. Here comes the pictures (which are not taken by me)!

#01 The girls; me, Apple, Wei Chian the ex-intern, Cheong and Yin (the girl who I always play Facebook with in Friends for Sale application without knowing each other until that party).

#02 Mei and Edwin, both producers who were cooks for the day.

#03 The girls who felt a little extra in the party ;p I look horrible here. See my tan!!!!!! Can die.

#04 The sunset pictures of the playful ones.

#05 Another playful one, Azim and Miss Lim.

#06 And pictures taken individually with my colleagues before I leave as an intern. The guy who doesnt look like his age, Edwin.

#07 Shan, the very very "sai sum" and funny one in the office.

#08 Mr. Assistant Director :)

There were group pictures but I dont know where they are. And how can I missed out Azim in the pictures. That is another funny guy to hang out with in the office. Haha. Anyway guys, I'll not be blogging for a few days from now because I have to spend more time on writting for my internship reports (20 pages!!) and also, I'll be going to Singapore on the 18th of January. Guess why!!! MUAHAHAHAHA :D

The 24 Hours Shoot

Date : 06 January 2008
Time : 5am-5am!
Location : Ara Hill, Damansara.

It was the last job that I'm going to participate in during my internship period in Carrot Films. It was a music video of Atilia, a local jazz singer. The music video that was filmed bascially talks about obstacles of life and the hope of it. So, in the video you'll see everyone crying then smile; like mad. Hahaha.

Besides being one of the crew, I was one of the talent too. Haha. They picked me because I look young and fit to be in the role they wanted. It was very tiring but it was very fun! And again, here's a heavy picture post throughout the 20 hours of the shoot. I was practically like a zombie for the last few hours and I did not take any pictures later. I then realised, the last few scenes were the scene of the artiste and I missed it. Stupid me. Grrr. This will definitely happen if the singer was Jay Chou ;p

#01 The sun was rising.

#02 The pokok botak and the pretty sky. I love pretty skies.

#03 And I was the first talent on set, and the first one to go with the first scene. Me in pinafore (for the very first time in them) and my make up artists. Muahahahaha.

#04 I'm a nerd! I was a nerd. Hahaha. Whatever.

#05 Mr. Director, Henry Ooi and the nerd at the staircase. The words and the voice he used can really make you cry (Oh yeah, I'm supposed to cry). Dont ask me what he told me.

#06 And then, I broke down and cried. And why did I cried? Because I tidak layak mendapat sijil SPM.

#07 I had to throw and kick the books away.

#08 And my tears were real okie. I cried like mad. And it was ugly.

#09 I think I scared my colleagues for being a cry baby. Hahaha. The morning was an emo one. I cried and stopped and continued crying. And when the director shouted cut. I was normal again.

#10 My school shoe I bought for SD4.50 and the sock I found at home, not knowing who does it belongs to. Ew. And books which are named Lim Mei Ling.

#11 The assistant director wanted to snap me crying. Haha he failed.

#12 I caught him in the my screen too. Meet Cheong, the assistant director.

#13 And the last take of me crying from the back. Cheong was holding a bottle of Eye mo to make the tears-dropping-on-the-paper effect. And there goes my scene. I'm done. And back to work!

#14 The last minute add-on scene of my colleague Apple, who is from China. She's having a homesick and she broke down.

#15 The following scene happened in the dining room where Nur, a married lady is waiting for her husband to come home. Unfortunately, her husband passed away and she broke down.

#16 Mr. Director talks to everyone before the camera rolls. He is very good in digging out people's emotion. And Nur looks very pretty and photogenic, no matter in which angle you shot her.

#17 Then the scene of a housewife who found out that her husband is cheating on her. That scene was shot at the laundry area where she broke down and cut the clothes of her husband. She was really good okay. But I could not takemore pictures because the place was to small for us.

#18 Next was the scene of a couple who just had sex but dint seem to look like, quarreling because they realised the girl was pregnant, accidentally! Hahaha. It was funny because they were funny. Omg. What am I talking about? I just cant stop laughing watching them shot that scene. Their tears were fake anyway.

#19 When they left, I took place at the scene because I find the background pretty in shots. Hehehe.

#20 Cindy and the props, that everyone thought that it was some food for them to eat.

#21 The starfish jump!

#22 Recently I have this thing to shoot my legs and the foreground. I remember my friend,
tutucake doing that too! ;p Sorry ah I wanna copy abit. Can or not?

#23 The in-house colleagues, Apple and Jojo.

#24 And this is what I found in her camera she held in the picture above.

#25 Mr. Director is one of the funniest guy I've met. Hahahaha. Together with his assistant and the one who filmed the-making-of the video.

#26 I die laughing at Mr. Director doing this in the next scene of a prostitute's room.

#27 And also die laughing at Cheong, the assistant director who helped out in the scene as the guy who just gave her business ;p

#28 Vanida, an award winning actress in Malaysia was the best crier or the day. I was totally impressed by her. She has no emotion on her face when she dropped her first tear. And it was supposed to be like that because she's numb and sad being a prostitute.

#29 Then, I found pills. Colourful pills in the toilet which are used a prop for the next scene.

#30 This scene is starred by Irene Santiago which I think she looks familar, vice versa but could not think of the place we met. She's a junkie in the toilet that broke down and started throwing things in the toilet.

#31 And this is the result of it.

#32 The next scene was tough because our talent needs to force herself in a gown that she could not fit and cry lying down like someone dead.

#33 And this is me camwhoring at the wardrobe room.

#34 Here comes the scene with a real pregnant lady where she claimed she could not cry. She's a happy person. But when she went on set, with minyak kapak, she actually cried out lout, letting her emotions out. It was good! I was touched.

#35 Alot of scenes right? That's why we need 24 hours to shoot. And this scene is talking about a man who cried because he was announced bankrupt. I dint get to see him act here because it was already 11 and I want to sleep so badly and I hop on to a bed and rest.

#36 And was caught in action. Haha.

#37 Next, the punk boy who cried because he was kicked out of home, being a punk. He cried very loud lor. Scary.

#38 And the last scene besides the singer herself would be the scene in the toilet again where this hot girl, Merlisa was raped. She's very pretty lor. And I was told that she used to be a very famous model.

#39 And guess what, we waited 1 hour to shot the singer later *_* We were dead bored and tired during that one hour.

#40 And we started fooling around.

#41 Mr. Director is here again!

#42 And me, sitting on a chair that I'm not supposed to.

#45 The picture that I really like because of the chair beside. It has very pretty motif.

#46 Mr. Director in action again.

#And finally after an hour, we get to shoot the singer here, at the bamboo garden. But I was busy doing my things and therefore, I took no more pictures.

In short, it was really fun and tiring. Hahaha. And it is also going to be my last job for internship. I'm leaving my intern soon which I'm quite sad about it. I enjoy working here. But I think I'll always have the chance to work with them in te future if I choose to enter in industry :)

Nothing To Do

I had another commercial shoot for Astro last Saturday and Sunday. And that means I worked for the whole week and I felt kinda worn out now. Very very tired but its still okay if something would not have happened on me. Let me tell you what is it later. Damn sad. And anyway, here is a very heavy picture post of the shoot, Astro - Nothing to do.

#01 For the first time, they used Carrot Films' office as the set for shoot.

#02 The guy who took the son's role in the commercial. I dint have good shoots of him because we have limited space to stand. Haha.

#03 The next Sunday morning, freaking 5am at Batu Caves.

#04 Yes, the sky in the morning, it actually tells you what kind of wheather is it going to be in the afternoon - SUNNY!

#05 The 5000th picture I took with my camera. The props at set with a very good natural retro mood.

#06 Cindy looks like she camwhore here but no, I took this picture and I like it because it seemed like plus some very professional extras behind. Hehe.

#07 The cave which I've never been to. And wanted to go at least once.

#08 The sunrise I captured from my right hand side ;p

#09 The clapper boy and the pretty green field.

#10 Zoomed in. Astro CNY "Nothing To Do". Man, I really have nothing to do throughout the whole day except for taking pictures.

#11 The crew and the tree.

#12 Ugly me, who was sweating like a pig with the props I found at set, the Chinese Ghost Umbrella. Muahaha.

#13 Me holding the shootboard with my colleague, Azim.

#14 And the umbrella looks like a flower here.

#15 Another colleague of mine from Shanghai, Apple. She filmed Jay Chou before she came to Malaysia lor! Very jealous.

#16 The main talent of the commercial, Uncle Chen.

#17 And most of the time, this is what I did. I'm uncle's manual fan. *_* Must make sure he is always in good condition and good looking lor. Cannot fan too hard also, later his hair will get messy.

#18 The director and his camera assistants.

#19 Again, the director cum camera man, Gavin Liew who came from HongKong.

#20 Cindy Liew, who might happened to be his relative ;p

#21 From the left, Dee the casting manager, Sam the wardrobe stylist and Yuen the make up artist who made me vomit blood for most of the time while talking to him.

#22 The crew again, form another angle.

#23 The art department guys who prepared themselves in garbage bags rain coats for the raining scene.

#24 And here comes the artificial rain.

#25 The water provider. Hehe.

#26 And there ends the second scene of the commercial, the outdoor scene at Batu Caves.

#27 And this is what I'm upset of. I'm totally burnt by the sun. LOOK AT MY UGLY SUN TAN. Omg. Omg. Very ugly already. How to wear sleeveless clothes? Can anyone teach me how to be fair again? :( :(

#28 Althought we're exhausted after the first scene, but we need to still carry on. It's 1pm and we are left with 2 more scenes and locations.

#29 The third location, Bukit Bintang's old chinese restaurant after the office and Batu Caves. And my camera's batteries started to die because I forgotten to charge them. Stupid me.

#30 The location manager Sun, production assistant Jojo and production manager Azim.

#31 Uncles in the restaurant having some coffee. But actually the coffee cups are empty ;p

#32 The 16mm film.

#33 And the backlight shot of Cindy at Bukit Bintang. The shooting there was fast. It ended like 3 hours later and we headed to Salak South, the last destination of the day.

#34 The house at somewhere hidden in Salak South.

#35 And that old house has very very good feng shui and scenary.

#36 And a last picture I took before my camera died is a picture of the old talents in the room :)

And I freaking reached home at 2am. I worked 23 hours straight without sleep for the very first time. Hahaha. I felt proud of myself man. Hahahaha. Damn tired now. I need to rest. Remember to check out the commercial 1 month from now on Astro's chinese channels :)

The First Moment of 2008

How was your new year celebration? I had mine very differently with the previous years. I dint spent my last night with my boyfriend, not my girlfriends too but with my childhood friends for the very first time. It was weird because I felt kinda awkward with them because we havent been talking to each others for years ;p

We had our night spent at KL's Bukit Bintang where it was very very hyper packed. I dint get to take pictures with them because they were kinda too drunk to do so and I was worried that people would play a fool with the snow spray and mess my camera. And therefore, I took only videos for awhile of my first moment of 2008 - fireworks!!! I had one good spot to view the fireworks man :) Once again, HAPPY 2008!!!!

In these 12 months...

01. I've worked in Triangel Jewellery @ Plaza Damas.
I worked there for 8 months since February 2007 and decided to leave the job because there were too many dramas happening in it and I think I was worth more than the pay they gave. Seriously. I never had free weekends for 8 months. Imagine. And my pay could not even cover my daily expenses. However, I cannot deny that I've met a new good friend, Joyee :)

02. I've got a laptop.
Although its not a new one but I'm glad that I've one. Thanks to my lovely cousin. With it, no more arguments (I mean less) with my brother and more time in my room. I dislike spending so much time in his room. Muahahahaha.

03. I've travelled to Kuching for the very first time.
Yes. I'm a Malaysian who stays only in the area I'm now. I've not travelled to places like Redang, Terengganu bla bla bla. Only a few like Malacca, Penang, Ipoh and Kuantan. And the objective of going to Kuching is to work. I had no time to have fun there at all. Damn sad.
#

04. I've got a new camera!!!
Okie, one good thing I earn from working in Triangel is to get to buy myself a brand new camera. Yes, I still insist that the pay is bloody low but I worked my ass off and I worked full time during the month of June to buy this okie. I love my camera to bits.
#

05. I've run Project Phunk with my fellow team mates, The Phunkers.
This is part of my college assessment to run a charity project. Project Phunk was the name that represents, Providing Hospis Understanding and Kare. I had fun during the project. I was assigned to take pictures throughout the whole event, have the official blog, design this and that. BUT I was terribly upset with the marks given by the lecturer who cant even recognise his students who worked. I bloody did so many things and got only 35/50 and my team mate from the same department who did not contribute, not to say nothing at all but not event 10% of my effort and score 40/50. And when I inform this to my lecturer, he asked me one question that left me speechless, "WHO ASK YOU TO DO SO MANY THINGS!?" Enough said. Overall, no regrets for what I've done. I still like it minus HIM :)
# # #

06. Had the first SSGians' reunion.
This is one night that I enjoyed a lot. I get to see lost friends ever since we graduated from high school. Damn. Meeting them back after 2 years, the feeling is great. I really love my high school friends. I hope we can have another one in 2008 :)
#

07. I've got my blog a domain!
Yes yes yes yes yes. I've got a domain and web hosting for my blog but I'm still stuck with blogger. Muahahahahahaha. Noob mar.

08. My work appeared in The Star Rage.
I like taking pictures and it definitely feels great when people actually look at them and tell me that they are nice. Full page of the front page somemore. Damn proud. YAY!
#

09. I've joined the best production house, Carrot Films for internship.
This is like one of my best working experience although I'll receive no pay. During this two months, I've joined the crew in 2 shoots which are Castrol and Astro. We'll have another MTV shoot next month. Wow. It is fun having my internship training there. Really :) #

10. Last but not least, I've got a car!
This time, it is no joke. It was a gift from someone which is not so convenient to be disclosed here. I'm very happy! Finally, my long-wanted gift is here :) #

First Carrot Shooting

Dear all, I had my first television commercial shooting with Carrot Films 3 days back at Jalan Hang Lekiu for Castrol. It was F-U-N! And before you continue reading, I shall let you know before hand that this is a heavy picture post with the timeline of the shoot day. And my task for that day was............. more than what was planned earlier.

04.49am - Time to wake up and get ready for the day.

05.30am - Left my house and was picked up by the runner to the set.

06.10am - Reached Jalan Hang Lekiu, the set and saw tons of people there already. They include the assistant director, line producer, production manager, production assistant, prop masters, art director (which annoyed me a lot!), caterers, mr. facilities and many many more. They were already there a few hours before I reached. The whole street was ours that day. Muahahaha.

06.15am - Breakfast at the caterer's tent.

06.30am - Trying out the bikes. Make sure that they are fine.

07.00am - Painting the zebra crossing from yellow to white. Setting up props like the traffic lights, the stalls (magazine, corn, dim sum and basket stalls) as the backgrounds. The sky was clear and bright by then. And the talents plus extras arrived too.

07.13am - Setting up the lights, where we get artificial sun lights and cleaning up the road.

07.18am - Start to arrange the motorbikes. And I actually took a lot of pictures as told. And I also think that I look funny in the picture above.

07.30am - Setting up the cameras. And the director, Henry getting ready for the first scene too.

07.33am - The extras, motor bikers were on their marks getting ready to be brief on their roles.

07.45am - Wardrobe for the main talents arrived. I was assigned to pick up the agency people, Ogilvy Singapore from their hotel.

08.15am - Back to set with the agency people.

08.27am - "Locking" the place and make sure no other unwanted people appear in that area. It was tough because sometimes you might ended up getting scoldings from the public like I did.

08.40am - And serving the agency people was part of my job. I am supposed to make sure that they have everything they want, they need and stuffs.

08.45am - Final checkup on the props and motorbikes.

08.50am - And camera rolls 10 minutes later till 6pm. And trust me, the hours later were basically the same where the camera rolls, it rains for a few minutes, pause, then the crew set everything back, camera rolls. And each scence takes at least 30 minutes and this continued till 6pm. Therefore, instead of repeating actions in the timeline, I am going to share pictures I took till the shoot ended.

#01 It was very dark when we just reached the set, Jalan Hang Lekiu (somewhere very near Petaling Street).

#02 The sun was coming out slowly.

#03 Me helping out the prop master to set up the magazine stall.

#04 Me standing in the middle of the street, LOST!

#05 The director's seat with the shootboard I prepared earlier.

#06 The extras as the pedestrian and the magazine stall behind.

#07 The bikers waiting for Putra's arrival.

#08 And here comes Putra the purple villian.

#09 In this scene, Putra, the purple villian is asked to drive fiercely and scare the pedestrians away.

#10 The action purple villian, Putra and his very ying bike.

#11 And also, he had a very very very cute bike.

#12 The clapper board that we always see in "the making of's".

#13 The annoying art director with his prop, the dim sum stall which has REAL kaya paus inside.

#14 The actually visual you cant see on television. Haha.

#15 The crowd who most of them thought we were filming some mat rempit's movie on tv3.

#16 We have also a scene where his motorbike shrinked.

#17 Cheong, the very loud assistant director in black and the camera crews.

#18 The special talent who got the most attention from everyone, the very cute granny who need to scold Putra.

#19 My favourite shot of the day.

#20 Putra with the very cute granny, Lim Yoke Lin.

There is actually too much picture to share and I only picked a partial to share here. Before I forget, there is also another main talent besides Putra. He is Amar, the good guy who was very quiet during the shoot.

#21 The very quiet Amar :)

#22 The street with the fake Castrol advertising board on top of the shop.

#23 A closer look.

#24 The basket stall that was placed as the background of the shoot.

#25 My colleagues, Azim the production manager and Shan the line producer for Castrol's job.

#26 The talents getting ready before the camera rolls.

#27 Me helping out the prop master again, to pick the nicest bottle among for package shoot.

#28 The very ugly, sweaty and chubby girls.

#29 And finally, this is how the shootboard look when we are all done :) Yay! And that's for the day.

It was indeed a very fun day. What I did taking pictures, was serving the agency people, taking care of them, pick up rubbish on the floor, help out when anyone from the crew needs help, provide water and tissue for the talents, assist the granny, running here and there and many more. Wow! Can't wait for the next shoot which might fall on the 29th of December. Yay yay yay!

Serving Fresh Carrots #05

Day 21
Its a brand new monday, a brand new boring monday where I almost did nothing besides printing and printing.

Day 22
A public holiday for me. For almost 3 weeks, I dint had a FREE day at all. On that day, I went out to have a hairdo and to my grandparents' place. And I found flower on the cactus! After years, finally the flowers on the cactus blossomed.

And I caught a picture of little Tammie being cheeky. Oh! Someone lost her front tooth. Hahahaha.

Day 23
That Wednesday was the fastest Wednesday which I've been through because there were alot of things to do. At first, I followed my colleagues out to buy tools and stationary for the shoot day. And I embarrassed myself at the shop. Because I adore disco ball so much, and I saw tons of it in the shop, my eye glued on them and tripped over a vase beside me. Very malu lor.

Later, we went to banks, furniture shops and mamak stalls before we headed back to Carrot. Back to Carrot, I had to prepare the director's shootboard which is going to be used on the shoot day too.

Me and the shootboards. And these did really occupy my whole Wednesday :)

Day 24
I started my day in office watching DVDs because no task were given. But after awhile later, my executive producer gave me a research to do about Dubai, it occupied me till 7pm. I was taking it like my college assignment, was very serious about it. Hahahaha.

Day 25
And during yesterday, I started my day watching the Finale Season of ANTM Cycle 9. I'm very very very disappointed with the results. Jenah should have won. Jenah should have won. Jenah should have won. Jenah should have won. Eww.

*I cannot recall what else I did*

OH! And I did alot of photocopyings. ALOT. ALOT. And attended Carrot Films' monthly meeting. It was quite an interesting meeting. And I guess that's all for my week 5 of internship. Week 6 will be a very packed week for me.

There will be a BIG suprise on Monday plus my whole family from Singapore is coming over for the week. A tvc shoot on Tuesday and maybe Wednesday, which means I cannot join my family trip for both the days. Man. So ngam for what. And a family gathering and special activities on Thursday and what's for Friday? It's the tong-yuen day!!!!! One of my favourite yearly festival :)

In The Carrot Stall #04

I know that my blog is growing spider webs because of my laziness. But besides being lazy to update my blog, I'm actually quite busy with work that inculded internship and weekend jobs at supermarkets. Very tired. No rest at all.

Day 16
I've got a new colleague. She's an assistant director from Shanghai. Quite a nice girl to approach because she has tons of stories about her shooting experiences to tell me. And before she came to Malaysia, her last shot was with Jay Chou!!!!! I damn jealous okay. And she also showed me that commercial of Jay Chou. Very cute! You'll never get to watch it here.

And my task for the day was, video download and compilation and online research for shooting's props references.

Day 17
As the shooting date is getting nearer, we had more things to do. That Tuesday, I was assigned to do the checklist for tools we need during the shooting day. There's quite a lot of things to check, which are like the camera box, production box and first aid kid. And for those stationery which are not available in the boxes, I was to order them through fax. At first, I thought tools in the production box would be things like director's chair, video tape and bla bla bla. But things inside were actually, cups, plates, plastic forks and spoon, tissue papers, garbage bags and man more. Haha. Out of my expectation.

Day 18
As the the following day, there was NOTHING to do at all. Seriously. Just print pictures lor. Print pictures my colleague took on recce. What is recce? Recce is the process of going to the location and see whether its okay for a commercial shooting. A new word! :)

Day 19
That day, the talents of the up-coming commercial, Castrol came to the production house for wardrobe fitting. I was assigned to take care of the clothes, let them wear and just look after it lar. Then again, compile and print the pictures of the talent in the clothes.

Day 20
I watched ANTM cycle 9 during work because I was given no task. I was very very very happy that Bianca was eliminated. I want Heather :( And right after I finished my favourite TV show, I was called to a meeting with the director for the commercial, Henry Ooi. You can click here to see his work :) He's a very nice guy I would say.

And I just realised that I havent been taking any pictures, not even did I on my camera for the whole week. Sorry. No pictures in this entry ;p

Drinking Carrot Juice #03

And during the 3rd week of my internship, I did more than before. Yay!

Day 11
I was having monday's blue. And well, I was given no task and during the whole day I was surfing the internet reading blogs and even watching videos in youtube. Was very very bored. Oh! I did some photostating as well. Boring!

Day 12
Today we did nothing more than video complilation. Die die bored.

Day 13
WEE! I looked for shooting locations, called them up for details and permission for shooting and lastly, went to the place to take pictures or references. Haha. I felt very happy that I can go out of the office to do the task given. Hehe. The place I went was a Buddhist Monastery @ Brickfields and these are the pictures I took there.

#01 The temple, Maha Vihara Buddhist Monastery at Brickfields.

#02 Part of the temple, it was a sunny day that day and thats why the sky is so pretty :)

#03 Another part of the temple.

#04 And they had got alot of rabbits at the garden. The rabbits were free from cage. Very cute and very obedient. :)

#05 They were not afraid of me even when I'm so near to them.

#06 There were alot of pretty flowers too. White hibiscus!

#07 And also PINK hibiscus too.

#08 And some very nice blue flowers too. The colour damn nice.

Day 14
I called up more locations, downloaded more video clips for complilation and also take pictures of product for references too.

#09 And during lunch, we went The Curve for McDonald.

Day 15
More video complilation and also, attended the 2nd pre-production meeting of the upcoming commercial that we are going to shoot next month. Muahahahahaha.

And that's all for this week. A little less boring but still bored week. I'm looking forward for more!!!!!!

Eating Carrots #02

And more updates plus pictures about my internship life! :)

Day 06
I did nothing more than videos complying and researches on directors for the clients. Although its a small task, but it took me the working hours to download the videos online. And oh! I learnt the trick to "steal" videos that are un-download-able. Muahahaha.

And guess what occupied me while downloading the videos - it's Cindy's new toy, Sony Album T that has one of the coolest function in a camera, the smile shutter. I love this function because smiles never get fake and un-natural in pictures anymore!

#01 The very pretty white camera. She's got more than the camera when she purchased it. She's got so many freebies like 2 Rynn Lin's concert ticket, one ODM watch and many more..

#02 The very cool smile shutter function. I wonder if there's going to have a new function for the ladies - the pout shutter like this;

#03 So called pout shutter. Muahahahaha. Cute what, not meh?

Day 07
It was a boring day continuing with more videos compilation. :(

Day 08
It was also a boring day with nothing to do and I took some pictures with Cindy's camera.

#04 My bling bling shoes and 1/4 of Cindy's.

#05 Cindy's oh-so-pink Sony laptop and mouse together with our water bottles. Mine is the orange one.

#06 My colleagues who did not look into the camera.

Day 09
Well, that Thursday I did cuttings and scanning. It was boring. I did video compilation again.

Day 10
I fell sick. I was having headache, coughs and flu. But that day, I was happy that I could join the very first pre-production meeting of our up coming commercial shooting for Castrol :) Oh, and I looked for shooting locations again. This time, I was supposed to look for monastery, call them up and ask about it.

I took pictures on that day too.

#07 My work space again; with my oh-so-big-and-pink bag!

#08 My notebook which has a very cute cover; doodles!

#09 And a picture of our national flower, hibiscus during my lunch hour :)

Eating Carrots #01

And I have been eating Carrots for more than 1 week already. But it seems very unhappening throughout the first week of my internship in Carrot Films. Half of the crew are still in Moscow for a shot and left not more than 10 people in the office. Oh! Cindy and I were the only girls in the office and also the only ones who dont smoke in the office.

We are here as production assistants but currently there is no specified jobs for us to follow and these are what we did for the pass 5 days;

Day 01
Watch all the advertisement clips produced by the production house. It was very interesting in the begining but after an hour, we are both dead bored. Usually people skips advertisements right! Haha. And we also reviewed the website, reading up the history and background of the company and also get to know about the people in the company.

Day 02
We were given small task. We were asked to look for advertisement shooting location online based on their requirements. I took hours and hours to do that. Its not as simple as I thought it would be.

Day 03
I would call that day the boring-est day in the week. We basically did nothing except chatting in MSN, playing Facebook, surfing the net and bla bla bla. And I was doing the tortoise vector. Hahahaha. And that's all.

Day 04
At last we have more things to work on. I had to continue looking for shooting locations and besides that, we had to do research and lookings for wardrobe dressing. It is for the talents in a corporate video that we are shooting soon. It was fun and and they actually used our work in their presentation! YAY!

Day 05
And during this day, it was the client-presentation day when we need to present to them our story board of the video's story line, the finalised talents, the location and the wardrobe clothings. We did alot of preparation stuffs like doing the mounting board for presentation and that took us quite alot of time. But too bad, we were not in the meeting. When the people were in the meeting room, what I did was snapping pictures! Muahahahaha.

#01 Carrot Films, nice logo :)

#02 The awards they have and they said this is only 1/3 of the ones they won. Wow!

#03 And one of the biggest awards among is the Best Production House they won for 3 years straight!

#04 This is my very dull workspace on the first floor. Free seatings one.

#05 Me and my laptop. And the wireless connection here is better than my Streamyx at home man...

#06 And see who's sitting beside me...

#07 OOH! One of my BFF that shares the same birthday as I do, Cindy!

#08 Almost the whole building is green in colour, the exterior and the interior which is good for my eyes! Haha. And this is part of the office where they have small meetings.

#09 See! Another green lepak corner beside our office.

#10 This is the spraying-corner for us to prepare our mounting board for presentation. I actually like the place as its very inspiring. Its an old-school-turning-around-upwards-stairs by the way. I dont know how is it exactly called lar. Hahaha. I like the way they hang the things and the Celcom's spray thingy.

#11 The bored me who camwhored.

#12 And my very nice skirt plus my legs and sandals. Random.

#13 Lastly, a picture I snapped in the toilet because this is the most comfortable toilet I've used during work. Muahahaha..

Did you read the paper today?

Because if you did read The Star R.Age, its me! The cover of it.... I mean the picture! YAY!

A few days ago a collegemate of mine asked me if I could send her a few of my best shots forher assignment. I agreed. I can't think of any reason to reject since I'll be given credit. I sent her 7-8 pictures which had similar styles; blue skies and spontaneous shots.

Today, I received a phone call from her in the middle of my class telling me that the pictures are published. I thought they were going to be as big as a name card in the pages inside. I never expected my picture to be publish that big until they passed me the paper. Of course, I was suprised and happy! But to think over again, that picture was not entirely mine. Half belong to Carmen because we played with it together, if you remember the post few months ago. Lucky it isnt credited in the cover and now, I'm doing it. :)

Then, I flipped the pages. I see so many familiar faces. The paper seem to be flooded with all the Mass Commie people from Taylor's College. Most of them are the Phunk People :) Then I saw another few shots of mine.

The pictures were snapped spontaneously, and look at the sky.! Uuh! I go excited when I see my name there. Hahahaha. And forgive me for the lousy captions. I thought they would paraphrase it in a better way or delete them so I crapped, basically.

Besides this, the R.Age published another 3 shots of mine during the Project Phunk. Wee! I'm very happy lor although there were no credits. Good enough to be published already.

*Jumps around* Very happy and I camwhored a little ;p

Still very happy :D

One night in the temple...

A week ago, I got my grandpa a tv commercial job. The pay was good and I thought, "Why not?" And so, we agreed to the job. And went for shooting last night. His role was a monk, head of the monks in a temple. The product is from India er, men's singlet. Named Lux. I thought it was the soap Lux at first. Haha.

0726pm - I left my house together with my mum. We headed to my grandpa's house.

0743pm - We reached my grandpa house. Hanged around with my cousins while waiting for my grandpa to get changed.

0750pm - Headed to the shooting location. Some temple near Petaling Street. ;p

0812pm - We reached the location early, because the traffic was very smooth! How I wish the traffic will be like that everyday. We were early anyway.

0830pm - The shooting is supposed to start by right, but they are not done with the set ups. The main lead, a famous star from Bollywood (they claimed, because I dont watch them) wasnt even there yet!

0835pm - There were food catering for the talents. We ate, we digested and we packed the food home! We're not kiasu but we were told to do so. There were a few uncle who took like 2 big bags of food home. *faints*

0840pm - I was restless, the others were too. There were 20 talents all together (kelefehs!) included my grandfather. Only 6 among the were youngsters that were all bald headed. Haha. Most of them smoked to kill time. ISH! That annoyed me.

0900pm - Wardrobe dressing! Everyone was getting ready. Everyone get changed in their monks' attires. Everyone was looking very funny! ;p

0917pm - Settle down. Some uncles get to trim their hair. But my grandpa has hair extension! Although its facial hair extension, dont play play, he has a personal make up artist you know! Hahaha. They made him look 10 years older in the shoot.

0930pm - THE BOLLYWOOD SUPERSTAR IS STILL NOT HERE! And he was making, like 15 old men waiting for him. And me, of course. ;p

1000pm - Still waiting. And the props are not done yet. Very hot one you know the place! Stuffy with smokes of the joss sticks and stuffs. See la! Those old man earn abit of money need to wait for so long, stay in the stuff place, walk on a dusty floor (monks have no shoes), shave their head, and wear 4-5 layers of cloth and sweated like nobody's business.

1030pm - I noticed a familiar face among the uncles. AH! I saw the uncle from Digi's new year commercial, the feng shui master who sounds like, "Hai yi dou la! Hou wong ah! Hou gang yiu wong ah!" (It's here! It's very ong (lucky/luck) here! Very very ong!) He's a very humorous man that kept asking people to eat. Haha.

1100pm - Finally, the star arrived. The props are done. "Roll on the camera!!!" But yet, we still need to wait. Its not the monks' scene.

1125pm - Its my grandpa's part now! Damn cool. He looks so professional in acting. I never knew that! He has to give them bloody loads of expression. Haha. I cant remember how many takes they did but it was indeed, alot!

1140pm - The monks get to rest while the staffs change the settings.

1200am - Me, "Omg! When can I roll on my bed? I'm dead tired." *Looks left, looks right* All the uncles, even the young monks are exhausted.

0100am - ISH! Not our turn yet!! Oh, and in case if you're wondering, they served food and drinks for extra people like me too! ;p

0130am - Again, the monks' turn. They have to do the same thing again, but this time they shot at a different angle.

0200am - Still shooting.

0230am - Yes, still shooting!

0300am - Casting manager, Spencer, "AH! One more hour to go. I think 4am lar, maximun then we can leave."

0400am - GRR. Still shooting. Not done yet. 2 more scenes to go. I cannot stand it anymore. I grabbed a plastic chair and I fell asleep on it.

0430am - I'm awaken by the director's loud loud voice. Now, I see more people smoking. As in, the majority people were smoking that I cant smell the joss stick anymore. Damn frustrating. I dont know where to go to avoid the smell.

0445am - No more tvc shoot at the moment. Next, photoshoot for the superstar.

0510am - Superstar can leave already. But the extras still need to stay. :(

0515am - Single tvc shoot for my grandpa. It was funny. It reminds me of ANTM's cover girl commercial. Hahaha. Oh shit! I need to catch the season finale of cycle 8 like NOW!

0540am - "Oi? I can go to school now..........."

0545am - FINALLY ITS DONE! Everything is done! OMG! Boleh balik rumah!!

0550am - Grandpa changed and took the pay!! YAY!

0600am - I'm hungry but I've no energy to bite even if there's my favourite pan mee infront of me. I'll just swallow. :)

0610am - Sent my grandpa home. AH. Damn tired.

0618am - I reached home. My brother was still on bed. Had to wake him up for school. Then, I went to bath.

0625am - Threw myself on the bed and slept with wet hair. Hahaha.

1059am - Received call from Roger, and that makes me wake up to watch some dramas.

1200pm - Drama ended. Pushed myself to the study desk and on my computer and blog. And upload pictures.

1230pm - Started blogging in a half awake mode. Replied an email from Nuffnang. I'm going for the Pirates of the Carribean 3's movie. Are you? If there's no one going with me, I dont think I'll go.

0100pm - Grandpa called, "Wake up! Let's go eat Kentucky! My treat." Me, "Cannot lar... I want to sleep."

0150pm - Finished blogging. ;p

0200pm - I assumed that I'll be on my bed....Waiting for Kentucky to come to me.! :)

Dont Worry, Be Ugly

Do you know that you have no more excuses to give whenever whoever wants to take your pictures? You cannot tell them that you're ugly, you're not photogenic, you've a big pimple on your nose, you've got big eye bags, you've got unwanted moles and that you have yellowish teeth.

CANNOT! CANNOT!

This is because there is such programme called the Adobe Photoshop. Do you know that Photoshop can do wonders ad magics on your pictures? Do not tell me you know now. And do not say that you dont know how to use it. Even a simple "Spot Healing Brush Tool" can help you remove your pimples away by clicks away. Hahaha.

Dont just stuck in the "Hue & Saturation" and "Brightness & Contrast" tool in it. You can do so much more in it. Its okay if you do not attend photoshop classes, you can always learn by yourselve by trial and errors tactic. You'll feel damn good and satisfying and I-dont-know-what-else after you'e seen good works done by yourselves. Even if you still can learn it by yourselves, you can always refer to tutorials available online. They are free (click here!)

And its good enough when you can master the basics of Photoshop. Hehehe. No more excuses!! NO MORE!!! And you see.......

I can erase wrinkles on my neck, erase the ugly strap, erase the ugly background, erase my mole, make my eyes balance (okay, someone helped me with this), and adjust the colour nicer leh! Hahaha.

That's why I'm so in love and so obsessed in my Adobe Photoshop version CS2. :) This proved even a full-flawed human or picture can be flawless! And now I want the brand new Photoshop CS3 leh! It has even more cool features that I've not came across. :(

Okay, now this entry remind me of my Computer Graphics' exam tomorrow. Haha. And I'll be tested on Adobe Illustrator. So, I shall close my Photoshop now and practice on the Illustrator! Cioas.

Untitled Story

I've once heard of a story. I dont remember the title. I dont remember the ending. I dont remember who told me or where I got the story from. The story always come across my mind because I think it is interesting. I wonder have you ever heard of it. The story sounded like this...

Once upon a time, there was a poor father who stayed in a small hut in some-place-i-forgotten-its-name with his young son, who was not given a name. I shall name him, Jaacob. Along with a donkey (or is it horse?!?!). Then one day, Jaacob's father decided to go to the town (I think. Oh dear, can someone correct me if I'm wrong?). He brought Jaacob and th donkey along too.

It was a very long journey. They had to walk to town as they had no money for transportation. On their way there, they met an old lady. She stared at the tired little boy and mumbled (in some auntie slang), "Wa. You wanna torture the little boy meh.. Got donkey also dont let him sit on it." And went off. The father felt so embarassing and then, he carried Jaacob and put him on top of the donkey. "Thanks papa" said Jaacob to his father. And then, they continued their journey.

Then, they met another stranger again. He stared at the tired father and said, "Oh my dear, how come there is such a unfilial son. Letting the father suffer while he himself relax on the animal's back." And went off. Jaacob felt very guilty and invited his father up. And so, he went up on the donkey and countinued the journey.

Then then, they met someone else again. Omg. Damn irritating passerbys. This time, this guy looked at the donkey and said, "Such cruel people. Torturing the donkey...." And left. Both of them felt so bad and jumped off the donkey's back. They then tied its leg and hands with a rope on a bamboo stick and carried it all the way like this to town. They thought it would make the donkey less tired.

Once they entered the town, everyone stared at them. "Why are they doing this to the donkey...." And then, I dont remember what happened next.

Have you heard of this story? Can anyone continue it for me. It's so irritating when I fail to get the whole picture of it. It's very very frustrating. I want to know the story. I think it would be a meaningful one.
