What : Maybelline Super Film Party

Last Sunday, I was invited to the launch of Maybelline’s new mascara – The Magnum Super Film Volum’ Express! And the theme of the party was Superhero! Unfortunately, I do not have any Superhero’s costume so I just made do with a simple dress.

#01 The event’s host in Wonder Woman’s outfit.

#02 Upon arrival, we were given a bracelet with 5 beads on it – S, U, P, E and R. We were supposed to collect another 4 beads of F,I,L and M to complete the bracelet. Then, collect the goodie bag with it.

#03 Pretty Yuen Yee I met during the event. Love the curls and the colour of her hair. And this picture was stolen from Nicholas ;p ;p

#04 In order to collect the beads mentioned earlier, we have to stop by 4 different decks for different tasks. Make-over Deck was the first to go! All we needed to do was having out lashes groomed with the Maybelline’s The Magnum Super Film Volum’ Express Mascara :) :)

#05 The second deck was the Laboratory. Each of us get to apply mascara on the fake eyelashes provided by them.. Wow, the mascara really give great volume to the eye lashes. I like!!! `winks

#06 Then, place the fake eyelashes in the test tube filled with warm water. Shake and rinse it. You will see the mascara coming off from the fake eyelashes bit by bit. That was interesting! You can easily remove the make up with just warm water and it is 24 hour smudge-proof too!

#07 Next deck was the Transmission Deck where we get to upload our picture in the Maybelline Super Film application in Facebook, and have magic happening on our eyelashes! You can try the application here.

#08 Last but not least, the Tele-Pod deck where we had to pose and snap pictures as if we were the Super Girls! Hahahaha. That’s Michelle and I in the blonde wigs and Jacqkie in the golden cape. Hahaha. Funny, I know..

#09 Hallo, we are the blondies.. :) I think we look funny. Hahahaha. So anyway, the event was sweet and simple. At the end of the day when we have collected all our beads, we just chilled, mingled and munched around. The food was gooooood. I miss the salmon sandwich :9

#10 Taadah! And these are what I’ve got in the goodie bag – a tee and a tube of mascara by Maybelline! :) :) Thank you very much. Now, you can tell how much I like freebies like this. Hehehehehe.
