What : Astro Wah Lai Toi 2012 Presentation Party

I havent been watching to Wah Lai Toi lately.. I’m usually tuned to Astro on Demand or either stuck with the other Korean programmes and I actually didn’t know there was such an event going on until Joshua called me up to crash the event together! It was really a random meet-up and event to appear at after OT from work too. Haha.

Joshua got ourselves a pair of VIP ticket and we were seated one row behind the Media persons until the main stars from Hong Kong appeared on stage! We then got Media access, upfront the stage! Familiar faces spotted there were Saimatkong and TianChad :)

The event was themed “Glamorous Hong Kong Entertainment, Captivating Local Programmes” where Hong Kong TVB artistes were invited to perform and interactive with the fans in Malaysia, along with popular local artistes.

#02 The show started of with dancing performance (which we actually missed) then followed up with singing performances by our very own Astro Star Quest finalist – Geraldine Gan, Tha Kien Ying, Peace Teo, Stephanie Liew, Fyone Tan.

#03 This is Peace Teo. He was the winner of ASQ 2 years back and recently, he released his debut EP too! I actually thought he can really sing well :)

#04 The first runner up of ASQ 2011 and second runner up for One Million Star; Kien Ying! Among all the finalists, she has the warmest cheers form the crowd that night!

All of the local singers get to perform one song each on the stage and played “Guess the Song” game with the audiences.

#05 Up next, it was a local live sit-com performance by the local radio dj and artistes from My Fm with their infamous Ah Beng!

#06 I have to say that they actually did a very good job on stage! We had our tummies rolling, laughing so hard at the jokes they made.

#07 Then, it was a dance performance by FIX, first runner up of Battleground 2011 who will thrilled the fans down the stage….. partly for their dances but mostly because the dance featured HIM. Him Law 罗仲谦 from TVB. He is currently the up and coming actor. You can expect to see more of his faces in future dramas already! :D

#08 Then, the appearances of the rest of the main casts that night! Him 罗仲谦 who recently starred in 、 MC Jin 欧阳靖 who got much attention by starring in <潛行狙擊/Lives of Omissions> alongside with Michael 谢天华 who is the ever famous Laughing Kor、Moses 陈豪 who starred in a lot of dramas, I cant event name ‘em all but his recent <天與地/When Heaven Burns> was really good、as well as Natalie 唐诗咏 and Ruco 陈展鹏 who both starred in <真相/The Other Truth>!

#14 After the introductions, Ruco kick-off the stage by singing “The Other Truth” drama’s theme song – Tsim Fuk 潛伏.

#16 Up next was Natalie’s singing performance. She sang Jolin’s 日不落 but she didn’t quite make it. Perhaps she was really nervous and singing isn’t her forte. That’s not important because attractions were very much on her leggy legs! Haha.

#17 After the singings, the three of them were gathered on stage for a round of games with the audiences. I wanted to go up stage so much for the games but I insist to go up much later when its Laughing Kor’s turn. Lol.

#18 They had the “Guess the Word” game and Natalie’s team won.

#20 And for those who likes HIM. Haha.

#21 After that, MC Jin came up stage and did what he is best in – rapping! He sang his very own song titled ABC and did a very good job in freestyle rapping!

#22 The random him, brought a little girl from the audiences up stage too! The little girl was so cute. I bet she didn’t know what happened but she made no noise at all! Hahaha check out her expression in the picture above!

#23 Then it was Moses turn. He sang the infamous When Heaven Burns’ theme song – Heaven and Earth.

#24 How much luckier can the Malaysian fans be when we were given the opportunity to sit down and have a coffee with Moses himself! The coffee lover, Moses threw out 5 frisbee that night and whoever who fetched it, will get to join in the coffee session!

Then it was time for games with the audiences! It was the time when I really wanna get on stage to play the game because Laughing Kor was in it too but I wasn’t lucky enough to be picked. 6 lucky ones were selected to go up stage and they played jumping rope games.

Moses and team did a very good job!

#28 Last but not least, it was time for Laughing Kor to show of his singing skill! As expected, he sang the theme song of his ever-popular drama, Live Of Omissions – Tuk Hang 獨行.

#29 Oh, did I not mention that all the artistes came down stage for a zero-distance interaction with the fans. Besides Him and Ruco, everyone else after Natalie’s performances came down to shake the fans’ hands!

I got to shake both Moses and Laughing Kor’s twice! :D

#30 Ahhh right after the last song, the artistes were invited back to the stage for a farewell with the fans.

I wanna thank Joshua again for the passes! I’ll be waiting for the group pictures of bloggers taken that night! I had much fun laughing away with the jokes and games they played plus the close interaction with the artistes.
