The Mini Gathering

Event : SSG Reunion '08
Date : 4th July 2008
Venue : Decanter @ Sri Hartamas

It was supposed to be a yearly gathering among the students of the same batch last Friday. When we planned, majority said they will be attending but till the 11th hour, most of them said "Sorry, I cant make it. I'll see you another day. I'm sorry". We received at least 10 of these similar messages telling us that they are not making it. SAD OKIE. And some came after 10pm when the bookings are no longer on. The food and the bookings are wasted. AIH. Anyway, thanks for those who came and here are the pictures of the night.

The Urbanscape 2008

I've finally got the time to update my blog about the Urbanscape I attended last Saturday at KLPac, Sentul. And thanks again to Nuffnang for providing me two free tickets for the day. Wee! So nice to have free stuffs.

#01 The Urbanscape 2008!

#02 At the KL Pac.

#03 The building from the outside.

#04 And the first thing which caught my eye in the building, the gallery was this very cool thing. The Tapau Nation Puppet. You can actually really move the puppet robot. Hahaha.

#05 Then they also had a lot of artistic stuffs including objects like these being tied in the middle of the air. I think they looked cool. It looks cool and yet complicated to me.

#06 Your head.

#07 The rainbow striped shoe.

#08 This was in The X Lawn Stage. Yeah, I entered during the first few slots of performance. I was actually quite proud because I know this local singer, Bobo right? Hahaha. Because I've met him before during my college project, Project Phunk.

#09 Later, we headed to the Acoustic Livehouse and it was great. There was a girl singing and a guy accompanying the song with his guitar. And they were good! But I feel bad because I cannot remember their names. But it was really good, the singing because I had goosebumps. Haha.

#10 After the performance, we left and went for a movie in the Cinetheatre. We watched the movie, "Flower in the Pocket" directed locally by Liew Seng Tat. I thought it was a not bad movie honestly. I like how detailed the movie was and how close it can be linked to us in reality. Very true that it can be a little boring because its not any action movie but I thought it was prety nice :)

#11 And and and my favourite part of the Urbanscape is the Bijou Bazaar, The Marketplace!

#12 So nice.

#13 And that's me. And that day was SUPER HOT weh. Lucky I dint get any tan from that afternoon.

#14 Thank you Tongue in Chic for the shopping vouchers and the free shopping bag :)

#15 The Thread Zoo. Nice banner weh.

#16 Clothes, clothes and clothes!!

#17 Shopping, shopping and shopping!!

#18 Buy, buying and bought!!

#19 And broke :(

#20 Do you like Hello Kitty goodies and apparels? My friend, Jingjing is selling them at good price! Pretty pinky purses.

#21 Jingjing :)

#22 Very cute blings blings. Hehe. I like but I dint get any of them. I dont know why. Haha.

#23 Me, mooked by the fashion police. Okay, now you know my height :( And you see la how hot was the weather, my face was SO SO SO red.

#24 And him too, hahah for wearing so white. Haha.

#25 And there was this baby there. Damn cute.

Hehehe. I had a lot of fun that day although I spent only a few hours there (I cannot tahan the weather) because I get to shop! I bought a pair of cheap white flip flops, a vintage skirt and a rm20 off dress from Shopaholics United. Hahaha. Hahaha. I want to shop more.. Hahahahaha. I want to shop shop till I drop. Haha.

Because we are the party animals!

Event : Nuffnang Wild "Live" Blogging Party
Date : 21st June 2008
Venue : Modesto @ Sri Hartamas

Hahahaha I dint mention in my blog that I won the invitation to the wild party because I'm kinda lazy to make a post about it. But it doesnt matter. Besides me going to the party, I'm lucky enough to be one of the 50 bloggers who can bring a pet friend along! ;p

I was kinda gan jiong before I reach the place because I'm so scared that both of us will be isolated at the corner. Yalar. I dont really have much blogger friends. I'm not anti-social just so most of my friends are not bloggers. Hahaha So anyway, lucky the people animals in the party were so friendly that I felt comfortable joining in the crowd :)

Lucky I dint bring my laptop there. Hahahaha. And I actually made my costume myself last minute before the party. I took a blak plain tube an sew the yellow stripes on it. And my cacated bee antenna and sting is made from paper and wire, coloured with nail colours ;p

In the party there were loads of animals like rabbit, tortoise, butterfly, lady bird, bee, chicken, cow, elephant, peacock, ostrich, zebra, lion, tiger, leopard, panda, spiderman, bat, gorilla, horse, crocodile, unicorn, cat, bear, octopus and many more lar. And here are the pictures I took last night!

#01 The busy bee and
Uncle Josh.

#02 My cousin,
Audrey! I mean, from the bee family one lar!

#03 With the
cow who kept losing his spot ;p

#04 Trying to be sombong with
Ginny but I failed :(

#05 I'm not very very happy but I just felt ticklish because of the Gorilla's bulu. Hahaha.

#06 Liang, the emcee.

#07 The crowd. And do you see an uncle in his tiger cape? I dont know him but he was such an attention seeker leh!

#08 There was 4 bees in the party! Hahaha. And hey, why no one notice my sting one :(

#09 The very pretty bee,
lady bird and peacock :)

#10 And I knew I looked very very tiny in all the pictures because I was wearing flats when everyone else was wearing heels! SEE!

#11 With the rabbits! And
Lie Peh was the one who I brought along to the party!

#12 With the King of the Jungle,
Timothy! And this is why I put my hand on my waist in most of the picture. See lar, my arm looked so funny, upper part meaty and not at the below :(

#13 The bloggers and the cameras. Ahaha.

#14 Games' time!!! Su Ann who was hungry because her butt was itchy *_*

#15 Ginny, miao miao. One of the very hot nuffies :)

#16 And there was something hot going on between the bunnies. Haha.

#17 Even hotter; the sotong and cat dancing together.

#18 And wow!
Kenny the Pooh is.... drinking fresh milk.

#19 The panda who was nagged by winnie.

#20 The
chicken who was happy because the wife ran away. And he get to have Cheesie as the mistress, thats why happy lo!

#21 The ostrich,
Suet Li. Seriously, I dint know we can dress up as an ostrich to a party.

#22 The chicken and his food!

#23 The chicken and I.

#24 Kenny the Pooh and his best friend, the bee! Hahaha. Because Winne the Pooh eats honey right?

#25 And it was yesterday when I realised chicken and Pooh came from the same family. Hahaha. Why do they looked so similar to each other *_*

#26 The
cheesy lioness and the bee.

#27 Er, the butterflies. Sorry but I dont like these butterflies' wings because they keep hitting me :(

#28 Those who were nominated for best dressed :)

#29 And those who were also nominated for the male category.

#30 And the winners are the sexy lioness and the cow! They won laptops!!! Hahaha. And pooh was trying to steal the limelight weh ;p

#31 The mini bee and the Queen of the Jungle!

#32 But har, I thought the elephant terrorist should have won the title of King of the Jungle because I think he was damn sanfu. I will never wear that to a party. One, I cannot breath. Two, very stuffy okay. Three, cannot see my face :(

#33 And har, this winner of the PSP was super lucky okie! The "real" winner of the most creative "live" blogging post was missing in action therefore the second guy after him kinda like took this prize back home.

#34 And lastly, the lion came out for a speech before the party ends. Like karaoke. Haha.

Once he finished the speech, I left almost imediately with the little bunny because I was super sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy. Hahaha. I am very sleepy also now :( But hey, I enjoyed myself the whole night. It was fun! I won two movie tickets also weh! Hahaha. And I think the other bloggers enjoyed theirselves too! Really! I nevr bluff you. You see!

#35 All so happy! :)

Thank you Nuffnang :)

p/s : But why no one noticed that I also did wear a bee earring on my left ear. Very itchy one lor :(

Because because because...

Because I went back to Sri Garden's annual sport's day like every other years :) I love school's sports day! Hehehe.

#01 The sky yesterday was very clear and it was very very hot as well.

#02 I was kinda sad that the kids now not as semangat as we used to be. The stadium was sooooooooooooo empty okay.

#03 Zoom zoom to the pretty balloons :)

#04 The girls I miss hanging out in high school. And I'll still wear green every year.

#05 The photocopied siblings, YuanYee and YuanKay. Hahahaha.

#06 Me, playing with YuanYee's shades.

#07 At the same time, there were a lot of running events going around. Then there was this mr.Junior doing 4X400 if I'm not mistaken. Look at his very scary muscles!!!

#08 In the same competition, there was my BFF's brother, Vincent. WA! He got he gold medal eh! :)

#09 SEE! So happy :) Hahahaha. The runnings really made me very excited although I am no longer in the team. And out ofthe events, I came out with a new term to describe the runners who "walked" instead of running. Hahahaha.

#10 When all the events are done, the students gathered in the track again, waiting for the announcements and it was also the prize giving ceremony.

#11 The happy red house girls :)

#12 And I heard he is leaving... Is that true?

And well, this year, they seperated the awards for sportsman and girl intro different classes, and all of them will received SMALL prizes. So unfair! They even had bronze medals for team competitions. No fair! Unfair! Ish! And most of the award winning students are from Blue house. However, they are not the overall winner eh. So sad.

#13 The yellow house won, again. Congratulations although I'm not happy with it ;p

#14 They won the march pass too. Not bad lar but but but yellow again. Sigh.

And the good news is, GREEN HOUSE IS NOT THE LAST THIS YEAR. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

#05 They have cool lighting though.

#06 One of my favourite picture taken that day.

#07 We are one in a million BFFs too. Because we share the same birthday! Hahaha. So cool.

Spreading Jay-ism part3

And this was what happened after Jay left the stage. Everyone was like, "HUH? No more already?" But onviously, they wanted us to shout for encore. Some of the people from the back of the VVIP corner rushed to the front. Understood. Their actions were totally understood because I might do the same thing too if I were seated behind. Not some actually, a lot of them, mostly young girls ran to the front, in front of me and shouted, "Encore! Encore! Encore!" And I joined them in shouting that, "Encore! Encore! Encore!" Suddenly, I changed my mind, I shouted, "SIT DOWN! SIT DOWN! SIT DOWN!" very very loudly and fierce in Mandarin. Omg. I cant believe I did that. Obviously they were stunned. They stared at me and I continued shouting until all of them squat down in front *_*

I'm not being bitchy but they are seriously blocking everyone. I thought they would sit or squat down after awhile but they dint. They took the place like their territory. Damn selfish right. They were frightened lar. Cindy was too.

And I think they bitched about me. And aunties and uncles behind were praising me! Hahaha because I helped them. Mind them, there were so many elderlies and even a handicap lady behind them. Right after they hide their stupid heads away from our sight, Jay came out!! Hahahahahaha. Was right on time.

#64 Jay Chou came out with a drum set at the left side of the stage. And he was playing... some random music I supposed. Hahaha.

#65 Then left the drum and came to the middle singing his latest song, Zhou Da Xia, the song for his latest movie, Kung Fu Dunk.

#66 Everyone was shouting singing "TOFU! TOFU!" at the chorus part when he offered us the mic, as if lar.

Then the girls went out of control again. Man. Cant they just go back to their seats where they were supposed to be. They should have behave. I went mad again because I could not see Jay, cant take pictures of him. All I can see his heads of people. This time, I could not shout because the music was so loud. I snatched the "bubble stick" or whatever you call it that was given by the sponsor, Munchies and tapped on their heads and shoulder, "Excuse me, can sit down or go back to your places or not? You're like freaking blocking our views." in Chinese.

Some listened and some dint bothered. Fine! Then a few security guards went to them but they were not listening either. Then finally the auntie, friend of the handicap later was so mad and she took the "bubble stick" and whacked them "HELLO. WE NO NEED TO SEE LAR LIKE THAT!" in a very auntie slang of Cantonese. Hahahaha. Then I added, "Serve you right!" I was so mean but I was allowed to be mean for a day because I was wearing the tee with print "LITTLE MISS BAD". Hahahahaha. Lame, I know.

All this happened like in a few minutes lar. They also feel paiseh after they got scolding from the auntie, they should feel paiseh. Then all of them squated down. And there was one uncle who looked at me as if he wanted to fight :(

#66 I think I'll like this picture a lot if it isnt blur. Haha.

And Jay, please stop going to the backstage and change so often. Please. Because when you left the stage again, those people rushed to the front again. This time, the amount of people was uncountable. Even Cindy wanted to stand up because we really cannot see anything at all. See lar these people. The security guards also cannot control.

Even worst when Jay came back to the stage.

#67 I cannot see anything from my spot anymore. I cannot take it anymore and I ran towards the stage. Hahahahaha. Kidding. I went towards the fence before the stage. Jay appeared in a very cool jacket, I like it lor, playing pipa. He played Fa Ru Xue but he dint sing.

#68 And here came my goosebumps. Hehe.

#69 Right infront, I had another attempt of taking a picture 'with' Jay. Obviously, I failed again. I hate taking pictures with flash that will make me ugly. Grrr.

#70 Then another one without the flash this time. We look okay but Jay wasnt focused well. He is the little white human on the stage anyway. Cindy, I think you look good here :) I like the lighting as well.

#71 Oh! He was singing Huo Yuan Jia, the song of the movie, Fearless.

#72 It was quite obvious because he was holding a fan. Hahaha. And I cant remember where he threw the fan to.

#73 He had a nice gold mic too.

#74 And the last song of the night was Shuang Jie Gun :) I cant remember where he threw the prop to, too.

#75 I dont know. Dont ask me.

#76 I really dont know why. Hahahahahaha.

#77 And the last video clip before he left :( Why did you left so quickly? Ish.

#78 We dint had enough of you lar, Jay. Sigh. Nevermind, we shall go to his future concerts again. Hehehahahahhehehaha.

#79 And a picture before we leave the stadium.

#80 Finally, the last picture. The limited Jay figure of the World Tour 2008. The Malaysia Jay doll. Beside this I also bought the landyard. I'm the landyard collecter :)

In short, I had a lot of fun, obviously. This is so because I've got good seats, really. And that Jay was so near to me although I had been nearer to him previously, I still felt that something was lacking during this concert of it. First of all, I dint like the name of the concert. Or was there a name? Hahaha. Why World Tour only one? Ew. Before this his concerts has good names like Fantasy, The One and Incomparable one leh. Why this time dont have a name? Well, if you cant think of one I can help out. Perhaps, "The Busy Concert" Hahahaha.

And also, I think there is a lack of his voice. It wasnt very smooth. Maybe he has sorethroat. Haha.

And I was expecting better guests. Not to say that NQMM isnt good enough but they were always with him in concerts. Enough already.

And I was also expecting remixed songs like he previously did to Di Tian and Ba Wo Hui Lai Le. It was damn good. Hahahaha.

And I was also also expecting him to sing Wo Bu Pei and An Hao.

And I was also also also expecting to fetch something he threw from the stage. Ahahahahaha.

And that's all for his World Tour 2008 at Malaysia :) WEEEEEEEEE!

Spreading Jay-ism part2

And continuing from the post yesterday :)

#30 He came out appearing in this very very handsome outfit. Haha. A very Chinese oriental feel. And he came out singing Qian Li Zhi Wai. I was expecting Fei Yu Qing to suddenly pop out in the stage. Hahahaha.

#31 I'm sorry Jay. I dont mean it. You look cute :)

#32 Memang ada feel.

#33 Then he continued by singing Qing Hua Qi. Damn nice.

#34 Fireworks. Fireworks. And most of them frightened me, maybe because I was near to it. And the fireworks of that night costed about RM3.3 million.

#35 And that's my hand, snapping pictures of Jay.

#36 One of my favourite picture.

#37 Then he sang Ben Cao Gang Mu. He danced :)

#38 Together with Dan Tou from NQMM.

#39 This is a precious shot because he posed the same as the cover of his World Tour 2007 concert's DVD :) The "shhhhh" pose. I wished it was a close up though.

#40 Then he played with the "che ling". I'm not sure what is it called in English. I was paying attention to him and suddenly he threw the "stick" towards my direction. OMG. I stunned and was slow to react. Cindy was fast, she put down her camera and try to fetch BUT the thing was too light and landed on the lady sitting RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. ARGH! Heartache. I dont think she wants it as bad as I do. Lucky lady. I wanna sit second row already next time :(

After that he went backstage to change, AGAIN!

#41 Then his special guests came on stage. It was NQMM. And this is Dan Tou :) He kept looking into my camera. Yay.

#42 This is Lara Veronim. Ther very very pretty mixed girl who has a very sharp and squuueeeeky voice, whatever you call it. But she's so sweet.

#43 They sang 3 songs of theirs. Xiang Nan Hai O, What Can I Do and Xiao Zhe Liu Lei.

#44 After that, they left and the stage was empty.

#45 And here came two dancers who were doing very intimate dances. The girl exposed her panty a lot until the old women and men infront of me shook their heads non stop. Haha. Cindy, "GET A ROOM!"

#46 Once they finished their dance, Jay appeared in a new outfit plus a tongkat. He was singing Ye De Di Qi Zhang. NICE :) And why is the dancer looking into my camera not Jay?

#47 Dan Tou rapped with him in the same song. And he looked into my camera again :) This is not taken from the giant screen ah.

#48 Later, he went to the right side of the stage. Lucky he was there or not I'll die of anger BECAUSE GOT 2 SEXY BUT UGLY GIRLS KEPT TOUCHING HIM :( And the song he was singing is totally not matching with that situation. He was singing Ye Qu. I thought it was supposed to be a sad one :( But I like this picture though. Nice lighting effects.

#49 And this is what I found from the forum. YOU SEE THEY GO RABA RABA HIM!!!!

#50 Okie. He came back to me :) And was singing Mi Tie Xiang. In the Tokyo's concert, his grandma went on stage to dance while he was singing this. Why dint she show up here? :(

#51 Instead of his grandma, he had 4 hot girls dancing around him. If I were that girl, I can smile wider than her :D Hahahaha.

Then he went backstage AGAIN.

#52 And came out with a guitar, the unplugged is here! Anyway, this is not Jay. Its Zhang Jie from NQMM who I inisist, insist that Yu Yang looks like him. Really!

#53 Jay and the guitar. They were talking and talking. And Jay asked Zhang Jie to sing a re-composed song of his, Ren Zhe. Zhang Jie, "There is a song that I think you dint transmit it well....." Jay, "Beware. Later they'll throw the neon light sticks to you!" Hahahahaha. The re-composed was an OK only. Haha.

#54 Then then then then Jay sang a song by Theresa Teng, Ni Zhe Me Shuo. It made me drunk AGAIN. He said that it was a spontaneous song. Ah!

#55 A video of him singing it. Sorry for my screamings. Hahaha.

#56 At the same time, everyone on stage was sitting down except for this little poor Dan Tou. Hehe. I thought this is a nice shot though :)

#57 And I tried taking picture 'with' Jay, but it was an ugly attempt :( He was singing his cute version of Shuang Jie Gun anyway.

#58 My BFF, Cindy and I with the neon stick I bought few days before the concert ;p

#59 And this is how close I was to the stage and Jay. And that's the little girl and the lady, the mum who got the stick of the che ling :(

#60 The next song he sang was Cai Hong.

#61 And Kai Bu Liao Kou. Totally drunk.

#62 Nice kan? I dont know why the lightings' effect turned out to be so cool also.

#63 Then right, before this picture was taken, Jay asked everyone to stand up properly so that he can sing his next song, Yang Guang Zai Nan. Everyone was so high, jumping here and there and I cannot take pictures of him already. I short mar, everyone from the back went to the front and blocked my view. Hahaha. Right after the song, there was confetti like in the picture, and he left the stage lor :(

Later, something happened to the 'drunk' me. Hahaha. And I will tell you the stupid story in the next post lar :) Wait for me to come back tomorrow.

And it was the best concert!

Yes. It really was the best concert I ever attended last night. It was the third time (because I missed Fantasy's concert) for me attending Jay Chou's concert but it was the best last night because I have the best seat ever :) Muahahahaha. Thank you to my mum's bestie for getting me the VVIP tickets.

Although it was stated that the concert will start at 8pm, but I decided to go there earlier because I am kiasu. I left my house at 5.30pm and reach there within 20 minutes. And I cannot imagine what I saw. Everyone else was more kiasu than me! The place was already crowded with people as if the concert has started. I was all alone then. I kiasu cause I scared I cannot get to buy his official merchandise sold there. Indeed, the line was extremely looooooooooooooong. I took about 40 minutes to reach at the counter. Thank you JuKoon and Emily for queuing with me. Thank you JuKoon for the cash; I dint bring enough cash to buy the merchandise lar. Haha.

Later I met up with Natalie. Thank you for your steamboat. If I dint eat the food, I guess I'll have no energy to scream last night. Hahaha. Thank you Cindy for letting me hurting your ear drums. Same to Luiz, thank you for dropping me home. Thank you Carmen for your mini fan that kept me cool. Thank you Apple for the poster. Thank you Natalie again, for helping me with the seludup-thingy ;p Thank you my camera for not dying like it used to. And thank you Jay Chou for standing right in front of me most of the time :D

Enough of the thank you's, I'll now start with the picture spamming. Prepare some tissues in case you drool over Jay. Unlike the previous concerts, I can only take pictures of the screens. This time I can take the real him. Hahahaha. And because I took over 350 pictures, I picked only some to share (which I dont think I can fit them all in a post).

Enjoy la. Drool la :)

#01 The right side of the stage. I like the back lighting thingy. Haha.

#02 And the concert started around 8.30pm. Wow it was better this time. Last time it was one hour delayed.

#03 JAY CHOU!!! :D The first song he sang was Huang Jing Jia the original sound track for Curse of the Golden Flower movie.

#04 Jay Chou and 2 members of Nan Quan Mama.

#05 A short clip I took of Jay singing the last few sentence of the song. Then the next song he sang was Wu Shuang.

#06 Then he changed his outfit. And I wonder why did his hairstylist put the feather cane behind him. Not nice :(

#07 He was totally into singing the song. Let me recall, he was singing Zhui Hou De Zhan Yi, if I'm not mistaken.

#08 He is not ugly ;p And I think he was singing Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi, the song from his movie, Secret.

#09 But I seriously dint like the funny hairstyle Ah Du, the hairstyler gave him.

#10 Then, he changed his outfit, his hairstyle and went to the left side of the stage where MyJaysian fan club members are there. I could not take a single picture of him there because it was too far. He sang love songs like Tui Hou. It made me drunk. Haha.

#11 A picture I took from Wai Fong :) I hope you dont mind because I dint manage to take Jay's picture when he went to the side of the stage.

#12 Then we went backstage, changed and headed to the left side of the stage where Jay2u fan club members are over there. Before he appeared, there were 4 guys dressed in those Scott dressing and danced. The 3rd guy did a mistake and tripped on the stage. Oopsi. And the last guy showed off his undies *_*

#13 Then Jay appeared singing Mai Ya Tang :) I dint list down the song he sang therefore if I remembered wrongly, please tell me. Hehe.

#14 And so, the next song was Niu Zai Hen Mang. The Cowboy song and he came back to me ;p

#15 I like it when he comb up his fringe. He looks good like this.

#16 When he was singing the chorus, "Bu yong mafan le bu yong mafan le..." I actually followed his dance. The silly dance with my neon stick. And I think he saw me doing that. Hahahaha.

#17 Caught him with a lot of facial expressions. This is a cheeky one.

#18 Him asking us to sing along with him.

#19 He went back in and appeared handsomely with a transparent grand piano :D He flirted with the audiences anyway. Hahaha. And sang Hei Se You Mou and Ting Ma Ma De Hua. When he was singing Ting Ma Ma De Hua, they showed recorded video clips of Chow YunFatt and Jackie Cheung. It was hilarious. Haha.

#20 I remembered him asking us about the weather in Malaysia.

#21 Then he continued with the song, Zhui Chang De Dian Ying :D I like this picture.

#22 Then he talked again. He said he is going to play the music piece from his movie, Secret. But before that, he said, "Its okay for me to play wrong because I wrote the song" Hahaha :D

#23 Indeed, he did a lot of mistake playing the song. Boo you Jay! Hahaha.

#24 Then then then he continued with the song, An Jing.

#25 It was soooooooooooo good although he screwed the lyrics a little bit.

#26 I'm getting drunk listening to him sing. Hahaha. Who said you need to drink to get drunk?

#27 Later, Yu Hao from NQMM appeared with a very very funny introduction video. Then, came out with a piano battle with Jay. Then they sang together, it was some fast and rappy song. I cant remember. Then, they danced together!!! :D

#28 A short video clip I uploaded in photobucket because I cant upload in YouTube, of Jay and Yu Hao dancing. Jay can dance!!

And I think that is all for the moment. Will update more tomorrow after my first mid-term paper.

#29 We'll be back! Stay tuned. Hehehehehehehehe.

Because Jay Chou came to town...

Oh yeah, I spent my whole yesterday to see Jay Chou. It was tiring but fun. Plus a little sad because my camera cannot handle Jay Chou. Once he appeared, it died. I wonder what happened to it because I still can take a lot of pictures before he appear on stage. I charged it full too. Jay is too cool for my camera. Or maybe too hot. Okay, its now confusing. Luckily Cindy brought her camera along :D

The first half day was spent in the indoor of 1Utama because it rained terribly. Even that I've got an umbrella with me, its useless. The rain was like un-describe-able. And that kept us indoor till I missed the time queuing up outside ;p And we're left quite behind away from the stage and the crowd. And then, we decided to stay away from the crowd by standing up on a level higher to view things more clear; on a pole's platform.

#01 People and their umbrellas.

#02 And this was how far we were left behind.

#03 The stage with 3 cool guys, a stationery ball and a 3D basketball net.

Besides Jay Chou, Baron Chen and the director of the movie, Kevin Chu, there were a few local celebrities performing on stage. Like, Karen Kong, Liang and PointBlanc. And also a special appearance by a special guest.

#04 Mr.
Kenny Sia, the kuching blogger, who was showing off his muscle. I'm jealous of him because he stayed backstage with Jay Chou :(

#05 We waited from the day till the night and Jay Chou wasnt there yet. Argh!

#06 I snapped people snapping the host on the stage, Royce from MyFm.

#07 Then finally, an hour behind the scheduled time, they appeared!!!! Jay Chou is under the purple umbrella!

#08 Jay Chou! Jay Chou! Let me see, this is my 5th or 6th time seeing him in person. Hahaha. I like this tee shirt. Will buy it if I see it anywhere in the mall. Haha. And I suggest that the stupid fella right infront of the stage should keep away his/her annoying umbrella. People from the back used half of their energy to shout at that person. It was so annoying. He blocked Jay Chou right at the angle we stood. Stupid fella. The only one using the umbrella in the crowd.

#09 This is the only picture of Jay Chou I took before he and I left 1Utama.

Then, we headed to Ruums to catch Jay Chou again. Thank you
Anglia for the invitation and the free tickets to watch the movie in GSC cinemas:)When we reached there, it was already half packed. Man, why do I see kids in there when they said people under 18 is not allowed. Again, we had to wait for Jay Chou and his friends. While waiting, there few mini games going around. I wanted to answer all the question but it seems like short people who stood in the crowd had no chance of that. There were perfomances too.

#10 The dances by dont-know-who. It was great though. I told myself that I cannot take more than 3 pictures before Jay appears because I have to save some for him. I took this and another one below so, I thought my camera is back to normal, not!

#11 The hardsell cheerleaders which has lame cheerlines.

#12 Then Jay appeared after all those unwanted things happening on stage. And my camera died. What a camera :( And the rest of the pictures, after picture #13 are taken with Cindy's camera.

#13 Why dint you wave to me?

#14 Jay Chou, Baron Chen and Kevin Chu. Why arent Charlene and Bo-Lin here too.

#15 So many pictures of them were taken and so many funny expressions of them were caught in camera too.

#16 Caught them pout as well =3

#17 Then, there was this huge basketball thrown from above to the stage for them to leave their signature.

#18 Caught Jay Chou having a frust expression ;p

#19 Wave to me! Wave to me!

#20 The only picture Jay Chou looked into the camera. Hi Jay Chou!

#21 Are you pointing at me?!?!?! *faints*

#22 And he looked like he was saying "YAY!" here. Haha.

#23 Later, the actors showed off their basketball skills. Baron and the ball isnt as attractive as...

#24 Jay Chou and his very very cute basketball skill.

#25 Making the ball roll on his arms to his shoulder and to another arm.

#26 And there were a few lucky people that gets to go on the stage to snap a picture with Jay. I'm jealous again :(

#27 When can I have a chance to take a picture with him?

#28 I cant remember if they were posing or what. Haha.

#29 And this was how close we were to the stage yet, unseen to the host to be picked.

#30 Suddenly my camera works again. But can only capture once. And this is what I've got. I think its quite cool ;p

#31 The very cool shot of the ice-breaking session. Wishes that the new movie gets a very good result in Malaysia. Oh people, go watch Kung Fu Dunk in cinemas okay!

#32 His expression is so cute here! So happy and so sweeeeeeeeeet :)

#33 They spent a lot in this movie. You see, break the ice also need hair stylist!

#34 CUUUTE!

#35 You see, because of this movie they travelled everywhere and at everywhere they spent only awhile. It's time to say bye bye. Sigh.

Bye bye Jay! See you soon :)

One Nigh With Phunk

It was last week when Project Phunk held our final event, One Night With Phunk and here are the pictures you might not get to see them in the Phunk' blog ;p

#01 I heart disco balls!

#02 Caroline and I. She's damn good okay, for letting me play with her DSLR.

#03 I asked the girls to be natural for me to snap, and this is what they did. Haha.

#04 Super Alvin's first jump which frightened the others.

#05 Then, the rest joined. This jump reminded me of High School Musical.

#06 Then another few joined in. Look at my shoes!

#07 It flew off. Damn embrassing okay.

#08 So, I decided to tak off my shoes and JUMP!

#09 The super jump with Alvin. Alamak. Cannot see my face also.

#10 The girls' jump by Cindy, YeeLing and I.

#11 The landing shot.

#12 Phunkers should not fight, you know...

#13 After the jumps and our tasks, much camwhoring happened in Laundry Bar.

#14 Me and my BFFs :)

#15 Me, Carmen and sei Roger. Omg! Look at my eye bags :( So terrible.

#16 Me, Grace and Carmen.

#17 And in the toilet too! ;p

#18 During the event, we had Heal The Heart donation. Hahah. This was a candid picture.

#19 After the event was over, we wanted a jumping group picture with
Smashpop but it was too crowded. And this was the result. Stop laughing!

#20 Then we gave up! A decent group picture will do. And how come no one is looking into the camera? :(

#21 And finally,
meet the Phunkers!

Did you read the paper today?

Because if you did read The Star R.Age, its me! The cover of it.... I mean the picture! YAY!

A few days ago a collegemate of mine asked me if I could send her a few of my best shots forher assignment. I agreed. I can't think of any reason to reject since I'll be given credit. I sent her 7-8 pictures which had similar styles; blue skies and spontaneous shots.

Today, I received a phone call from her in the middle of my class telling me that the pictures are published. I thought they were going to be as big as a name card in the pages inside. I never expected my picture to be publish that big until they passed me the paper. Of course, I was suprised and happy! But to think over again, that picture was not entirely mine. Half belong to Carmen because we played with it together, if you remember the post few months ago. Lucky it isnt credited in the cover and now, I'm doing it. :)

Then, I flipped the pages. I see so many familiar faces. The paper seem to be flooded with all the Mass Commie people from Taylor's College. Most of them are the Phunk People :) Then I saw another few shots of mine.

The pictures were snapped spontaneously, and look at the sky.! Uuh! I go excited when I see my name there. Hahahaha. And forgive me for the lousy captions. I thought they would paraphrase it in a better way or delete them so I crapped, basically.

Besides this, the R.Age published another 3 shots of mine during the Project Phunk. Wee! I'm very happy lor although there were no credits. Good enough to be published already.

*Jumps around* Very happy and I camwhored a little ;p

Still very happy :D

Our First Reunion

After the last day of SPM examinations in SSG, or maybe some other days that I'm not around, I think yesterday was the day when we finally get to gather in such a big group. Although its only 1/3 plus of us. The reunion dinner was located at Izzi's, Jalan Sultan Ismail. It was supposed to start at 730pm but it seems that most of the people attended are practicing the "Malaysian's Timing". You guys were late! ;p I was the second! Hahaha. Scott, was first. I lost! :(

The place booked was great. Thanks
Su Ann for that. Most of the people were like, "Wow! The whole floor is ours?" Hahaha. The guys were so happy ok, because they have their very own smoking area. Haha. I was damn exciting about this reunion for some reason and was rather disappointed last night because there were quite a few number of people who cheated me! I'm mad... Not okay until like few minutes later. Hahaha.

We ate, we talked and as usual, we snapped!

#01 The first picture I took last night with Kai Yee and Wan Wei. I felt quite stupid when people around me were wearing pretty clothes, and I cincai-ed.

#02 I din't started taking pictures around until he was. Darren my class monitor during Primary5. Since then, we were been in the same class again. Haha. And that was Lie Peh behind us.

#03 My once-best-buddy, Poh Juan.

#04 My usual buddy and my Primary6 buddy,
Peggy Chow who dint really change! Why am I looking so awkward ah?

#05 People of my table.

#06 The people next table, next class. They are Yoon Hui, Yann Ee, Denise and Sara Chua (Left to right, top to bottom).

#07 The mean guys who din't want to attend in the begining. They are Chee Hou, Justin, Scott, Adrian, Wan Keen, Chuan Yee and Daniel Chua (Left to right, top to bottom).

#08 My "long-time-no-see" friends. Hahahaha. Carmen and Cindy.

#09 Our Bruce Lee look alike, Aaron Chung and Carmen.

#10 The not-so-good-boys, Ian and Ju Koon.

#11 The very big and small buddies standing together. Hahahaha.

#12 With the girl I knew since primary, Christine and the girl I see in college, Sieu Theng.

#13 The very sweet couple, Victor and Carmen.

#14 Both of them have big tummies. Hahahaha.

#15 The guy who is younger than me by ony one day, Chuan Yee and my best buddy, Piao Ching.

#16 My BFF 01, Chiam Carmen.

#17 And BFF 02, Cindy Liew. Did I mention that we share the same birthday?

#18 Yi Kye, the friend who always, ALWAYS bully me :(

#19 The same-sized girls.

#20 Together with Victor and Piao Ching.

#21 I dint want to take picture with him, and so Carmen took place ;p ;p ;p

#22 And my very first friend in Primary1 plus very first car pool friend to college plus the nearest friend at my area, Alvin who dint want to take a single picture wih me!!!!!! Ooh, plus Lie Peh beside.

#23 Ee Yang, the curly hair guy who we refered as the "extra guy" last night. Just joking ok? :)

#24 Another couple, Cindy and Luiz.

#25 Another another couple, Ian and Emily with John and Ju Koon.

#26 First time camwhoring with Kai Yee, the girl who sat beside me when she entered SSG during Form 1.

#27 The three of us who worked (me, a little) for the reunion. Me, Su Ann and Ian. See, I told you I dont want to take picture with him. I'm not standing beside him. Hahahaha.

#28 Then, we excluded him from the picture. Too bad ;p

#29 Finally, the group picture of all who attended. :) I was quite unready for the picture leh.

#30 And a picture I took in the toilet with the HUGE mirror. Hahahaha.

That's all from me. You guys who wants to view more of the pictures can click here and please send me a copy of all from your cameras too. Thanks and SSG still rocks!!!!! :)

I'm Not Good In Giving Titles

Yes. It's true that I'm very bad in giving good titles for my blog entries. Hahaha. Forgive me. Today, a partial of Mass Commies went to Taylor's University College at Subang Jaya for our Project Phunk 's side event, the Garage Sales. You can see that from my Shout Out. I took tons of picture during the event and none of them were edited using Adobe Photoshop.

#01 When my Phunk members were unpacking the items for sale, I was not helping. I took only pictures although half of me is appearing in the picture above; my back and my bag ;p

#02 Project Phunk's client,
Hospis Malaysia.

#03 Phunky photo-frames that is sold in the garage sales. And guess what? The jelly bean ones are sold out even before the garage sales. Wow!

#04 A pointless picture, but I like the colours.

#05 Besides garage sales, we had the Teddy Bear sales too. They are so cheap ok. Only RM8 and RM9 for both different sizes of bears. Where can you get such cute teddies at this price outside?

#06 Heal the Heart donation drive.

#07 Where you pay only RM1 fo one plaster, and get it sticked on the heart (to heal it) with your name. Plus, it is for donation. Not for us.

#08 Wanwei, my high school's friend who supported us there even she's not a Taylor-ian. I'm glad to have such supportive friend. :)

#09 A totally candid picture. Look at each and everyone of them. Hahahahaha.

#10 My Phunk members that were helping out at the garage sales.

#11 The Mix Fm Cruiser who came with gifts of food and drinks.

#12 And the X-Fresh team who came with more prizes.

#13 The pretty Phunk People who were advertising our sponsor.

#14 More advertising at the back of our Phunk tee :)

#15 The design found on the front of our Phunk tees. RM20 per tees. Interested?

#16 The mini fan I used during the event. It was very freaking hot ok.! But the battery was dead very soon later.

#17 The wheather was very hot but the sky was very pretty. I cannot stop taking pictures of the sky.

#18 And the building looks very fake with that pretty background of blue sky and white cotton candies.

#19 And I zoomed all the way up to the rooftop for this. WEE!

#20 I did not stop taking although the sun was really burning hot, until I've got this shot. My favourite shot of the day :)

#21 And then I camwhored shamelessly.

#22 And then I was caught for a group picture. Yay! I looked tall but ugly. I was sweating like a aneroxic pig lor :(

#23 Not forgetting a group picture will all the ones who helped out in the event today. This was taken in the middle of the event when all students were in their classes; we had nothing better to do then. Spot me?

We decided to stop at 3pm later. We packed everything within 10 minutes as there were no students at all! I supposed everyone were in their classes. We packed the things and once we were all done, the students appeared. This is disgusting. We are not repeating this mistake again tomorrow :(

Please come join us at Taylor's University College, Subang Jaya. It's gonna be the last day of our garage sales. Come grab the stuffs before its too late!

#24 We kept the tables too. We are such good kids :) And wonder what the white paper reads? It says, "Please do not place any tables/chair in front of this door".

*Runs away....*

P/s: Pinkpau, I love your idea of numbering the pictures like this. I stole your idea. I'm sorry :(

Vven Gives You A Little Suprise

NO! You did not visit the wrong page. It's the right blog, its just being upgraded! Yay! I've officially launched vvens.com on the 5th of September 2007. This is the brand new layout in conjunction of the new domain. :)

Why vvens.com? Easy la! It's my name mar. Viviensam.com sounds abit too formal therefore, I picked my screen name which I's where deleted from Vivien and the initial S was added from my surname, Sam. Sorry if you have to re-link my blog.

This is the mini suprise I mentioned a little during the previous post. Suprised, no? Besides making the layout during the week, I've also done something for my Project Phunk. As mentioned in my Shout Out available at the right side bar, there will be a Phunk Garage Sales going on in Taylor's College Subang Jaya on the 11th and 12th September (I'll be going there!). We'll sell more than just second-hand-yet-cool stuffs. We've be selling photo frames (sounds boring?) done by the Phunk People! And that is what I made during the week. I cannot show you all the work done by all but I can show you what I did.

Do you see a brownish photo frame? That is wat I did. It was originally a plain photo frame bought in Ikea, then pimped by my using rainbow icings. Yes, icing sugar. But need not worry, because I've applied 8127432 layers of pylox. Another one I did was just painting it with water colour using the Phunk colours; green, blue, orange, yellow and purple.

Another design done by Cindy was awesome! I bought it home myself even before the Phunk Garage Sales. Oops.! She pimped it using colourful jelly beans, and same here they are protected by layers of pylox. So, dont worry about the pest attraction. They have been in our room for days already. Very nice right? And all the frames are selling at RM5 only! Its worth the item plus the effort we put to design it.

So what are you supposed to do now? Come to our Phunk Garage Sales la! For more details, visit Project Phunk. :)

Project Phunk '07

For the past week, I've been very busy with assignments and assignments. I'm not done with them yet! But slighty better already, I guessed. My coursemates and I had quite a numbers or events going in the campus too. That did contribute to my very busy busy week.

During the hectic week, we had the Project Phunk's Garage Sales at TCPJ, Leisure Commerce Square. There you go with pictures, pictures and pictures.

Mei Yan, a.k.a Lilo and Hsiang Yin, a.k.a Yinly

Yee Ling (the one who sends to me college everyday) and Fina the very decent girl. Click
here for more pictures I took during the sales.

And guess what I found in the garage sales!

A Jay Chou half pirated/original album which costed me only RM5. Why did I said its half pirated? Because that album is not available in the market lar. Plus, it contained 4 extra songs sang by god-knows-who! But its not entirely pirated also. Its just some "original" albums from China. ;p

Then I found a giant tea bag! Hahahaha. That's
Behonce trying to get me a tea for me using the pool's water. Haha.

And then we had the Phunk: Heal the Heart, where people actually buy donate RM1-RM3 and gets a plaster to "heal" the heart.

Grace Oon, Fina and Jacqkie :)

The very kind people. :)

The regular girls in my blog, Cindy and Carmen.

Are you confused? You don't know what am I saying is it?! Nevermind. Click
here!!!!!

And ME (with my friends)!
