My cousin, Elaine has left to Australia a few days ago to continue her studies there and before she did, she came down to KL for two days. I wish she could spend more time here though! The Mini Gathering

Event : SSG Reunion '08 Date : 4th July 2008 Venue : Decanter @ Sri Hartamas It was supposed to be a yearly gathering among the students of the same batch last Friday. When we planned, majority said they will be attending but till the 11th hour, most of them said "Sorry, I cant make it. I'll see you another day. I'm sorry". We received at least 10 of these similar messages telling us that they are not making it. SAD OKIE. And some came after 10pm when the bookings are no longer on. The food and the bookings are wasted. The Urbanscape 2008

I've finally got the time to update my blog about the Urbanscape I attended last Saturday at KLPac, Sentul. And thanks again to Nuffnang for providing me two free tickets for the day. Wee! So nice to have free stuffs. #01 The Urbanscape 2008! #02 At the KL Pac. #03 The building from the outside. #04 And the first thing which caught my eye in the building, the gallery was this very cool thing. The Tapau Nation Puppet. You can actually really move the puppet robot. Hahaha. #05 Then they also had a lot of artistic stuffs including objects like these being tied in the middle of the air. I think they looked cool. It looks cool and yet complicated to me. #06 Your head. #07 The rainbow striped shoe. #08 This was in The X Lawn Stage. Yeah, I entered during the first few slots of performance. I was actually quite proud because I know this local singer, Bobo right? Hahaha. Because I've met him before during my college project, Project Phunk. #09 Later, we headed to the Acoustic Livehouse and it was great. There was a girl singing and a guy accompanying the song with his guitar. And they were good! But I feel bad because I cannot remember their names. But it was really good, the singing because I had goosebumps. Haha. #10 After the performance, we left and went for a movie in the Cinetheatre. We watched the movie, "Flower in the Pocket" directed locally by Liew Seng Tat. I thought it was a not bad movie honestly. I like how detailed the movie was and how close it can be linked to us in reality. Very true that it can be a little boring because its not any action movie but I thought it was prety nice :) #11 And and and my favourite part of the Urbanscape is the Bijou Bazaar, The Marketplace! #12 So nice. #13 And that's me. And that day was SUPER HOT weh. Lucky I dint get any tan from that afternoon. #14 Thank you Tongue in Chic for the shopping vouchers and the free shopping bag :) #15 The Thread Zoo. I bought a pair of cheap white flip flops, a vintage skirt and a rm20 off dress from Shopaholics United. Hahaha. Hahaha. I want to shop more.. Hahahahaha. I want to shop shop till I drop. Haha.

Because we are the party animals!

Event : Nuffnang Wild "Live" Blogging Party Date : 21st June 2008 Venue : Modesto @ Sri Hartamas Hahahaha I dint mention in my blog that I won the invitation to the wild party because I'm kinda lazy to make a post about it. But it doesnt matter. Besides me going to the party, I'm lucky enough to be one of the 50 bloggers who can bring a pet friend along! ;p I was kinda gan jiong before I reach the place because I'm so scared that both of us will be isolated at the corner. Yalar. I dont really have much blogger friends. I'm not anti-social just so most of my friends are not bloggers. Hahaha So anyway, lucky the people animals in the party were so friendly that I felt comfortable joining in the crowd :) Lucky I dint bring my laptop there. Hahahaha. And I actually made my costume myself last minute before the party. I took a blak plain tube an sew the yellow stripes on it. And my cacated bee antenna and sting is made from paper and wire, coloured with nail colours ;p In the party there were loads of animals like rabbit, tortoise, butterfly, lady bird, bee, chicken, cow, elephant, peacock, ostrich, zebra, lion, tiger, leopard, panda, spiderman, bat, gorilla, horse, crocodile, unicorn, cat, bear, octopus and many more lar. The "real" winner of the most creative "live" blogging post was missing in action therefore the second guy after him kinda like took this prize back home. #34 And lastly, the lion came out for a speech before the party ends. Like karaoke. Haha. Once he finished the speech, I left almost imediately with the little bunny because I was super sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy. Hahaha. I am very sleepy also now :( But hey, I enjoyed myself the whole night. It was fun! I won two movie tickets also weh! Hahaha. And I think the other bloggers enjoyed theirselves too! Really! The Party in Room 1801

Event : YeeLing's 21st BIG Birthday Date : 17th May 2008 Venue : Room 1801, Holiday Villa Firstly, who is YeeLing to me? She's a pretty chick I met in college. She's not in the same intake with me but somehow we clicked together and hang out together as we found a lot of things in common. One of the biggest factor that brought us together was that we stay nearby to each other, and that makes her my car pool friend everyday to college for a few months before I've got Tofu. Hehehehehehe. She's the girl who hates Chinese songs because it makes her cried and the one who hates Myvi too. What a weird girl. Yesterday was her actual birthday but she had her party few days before, and I was invited! After the so-called photoshoot was done at the playground, we went back to Caroline's crib to wait for the models. Waited, waited and waited. Was too bored and we played with Caroline's camera again. The girls and I went kaypoh-ing at our friends' house because there will be a very interesting photoshoot going on there.We also busybody la. Actually more to me ;p But then we were earlier tha the models and so, we had some time playing around with the equipments our friend, Caroline has. Because because because...

Because I went back to Sri Garden's annual sport's day like every other years :) I love school's sports day! Hehehe. #01 The sky yesterday was very clear and it was very very hot as well. #02 I was kinda sad that the kids now not as semangat as we used to be. The stadium was sooooooooooooo empty okay. #03 Zoom zoom to the pretty balloons :) #04 The girls I miss hanging out in high school. And I'll still wear green every year. #05 The photocopied siblings, YuanYee and YuanKay. Hahahaha. #06 Me, playing with YuanYee's shades. #07 At the same time, there were a lot of running events going around. Then there was this mr.Junior doing 4X400 if I'm not mistaken. Look at his very scary muscles!!! #08 In the same competition, there was my BFF's brother, Vincent. WA! He got he gold medal eh! :) #09 SEE! So happy :) Hahahaha. The runnings really made me very excited although I am no longer in the team. And out ofthe events, I came out with a new term to describe the runners who "walked" instead of running. Hahahaha. #10 When all the events are done, the students gathered in the track again, waiting for the announcements and it was also the prize giving ceremony. #11 The happy red house girls :) #12 And I heard he is leaving... Is that true? And well, this year, they seperated the awards for sportsman and girl intro different classes, and all of them will received SMALL prizes. So unfair! They even had bronze medals for team competitions. No fair! Unfair! Ish! And most of the award winning students are from Blue house. However, they are not the overall winner eh. So sad. #13 The yellow house won, again. Congratulations although I'm not happy with it ;p #14 They won the march pass too. Not bad lar but but but yellow again. Sigh. And the good news is, GREEN HOUSE IS NOT THE LAST THIS YEAR. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

My 4th day in Taiwan

As for the fourth day, we went to a place in Taipei called Jeou Fen. It is a place like Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. We took the public bus there, NT90 per person and it took us roughly 1 and the half hours to reach up the hill. #01 While in the bus, Taipei city's street has a lot of traffic lights! #02 I think I was on some bridge. It was a nice position that allowed me to see Taipei 101 and people at the right hand side playing baseball. Taiwanese adore baseball a lot eh! #03 Awhile later, we reached there. The wheather there was so niiiiiiiiiceeeeeeeee. So many people and so many stalls. So many food too. Mini chili shrimps. Very nice :) #04 You see, so many humans. #05 SO many pretty seashells for sale :) NT100 for one. #06 So many mochi for sales. #07 And this, its ice-cream popiah. So cool right! #08 Bing tong wu lou. #09 And this, very very yummy. Its potato chips. But but but, its a one whole potato potong-ed nicely so that they are still in ONE. Got cheese, seaweed, curry, BBQ and many more flavours eh! #10 The view from up the hill :) #11 And me. #12 And I spotted this pink tree eh. #13 Camwhoring again. Hehehehe. #14 Very pretty pink guava I found at the stalls there. #15 And a basket of oranges the people were drying up. Random eh. #16 Sunflower. #17 And we found a very cute jacket. #18 Found causeway bay too. Hahahahahaha. #19 They sell very cheap vintage phone. NT390 for one only! #20 I took a lot of random shots. Slipper. #21 Old fashion letter box. And it belongs to people who stays there. #22 I like the place. I like the food and the streets. Its so vintage, I think it would be a cool set for shootings. #23 Random old-fashion lantern. #24 AH! And I spotted a very very very cute baby. See, so cute. #25 Something more random,we bought a magic cube and put my cousin brother on the magic cube test. #26 He took about 3 minutes to solve the magic cube. Maybe it was because of the place, we recorded this at the side of the street, he was pressured. Usually he can finish it up in a minute. And we left the place in the afternoon. Took the same bus again. And during the way back to the town, we passed by thousands of shops. And I spotted a shop! #27 You'll regconise this shop if you watch the Taiwan drama, Why Why Love. :) Then then, we went back to hotel. Took a rest and continued shopping at Shih Lin night market! Hahahahaha. And because it was a Saturday night, the place was damn crowded. We were all like sardin fishes. We had to walk sticking to eat other. Ish. Lucky, we still get to do our last buy there. Hehehe. And that was how I spent my last night in Taipei.

My 3rd day in Taiwan

I miss it like mad now........... #03 The very delicious fried carrot cake, and Oh Ah Jian, the oysters fried egg. #04 A bubble tea a day, keeps us happy! Hahahahaha. #05 After the breakfast, we walked around looking for a place that we can change our Singapore dollars to Taiwan dollars. Suprisingly, they do not have money changer like we can find in KL and Singapore. Their banks do not accept Singapore dollars either. Quite ridiculous right? And we had to walk around town about an hour plus to the main office of the Taiwan Bank. Shit. So bad lar the service. Ish. But looking at the bright side, we did a lot of shopping while looking for the bank. And I bought this pink sweater which I refer it to Tong Jia Di jacket because of the Taiwan series, Why Why Love. Hahaha. #06 And there was this fruit stall that caught our attentions with ther very colourful fruits. #07 They looked very delicious and only looked delicious. Hahaha. But nevermind, they costed us only NT40 for a box like this. #08 Little tomatoes. #09 "We are tourists mar, so we can take whatever pictures. Haha" #10 Later hor, we took taxi to one of the place where I have planned to go ever since the day I know I am going to Taiwan. GUESS WHERE! #11 Phantaci. Or else pronounced as Fantasy. The shop owned by JAY CHOU! My outfit super matching hor! #12 His shop freaking hard to find lor. It was our second attempt and obviously we failed he first. And when we were there, the shop wasnt open yet. It was freaking 1pm already eh. #13 So we took pictures with the door first lor. Hahahahahahaha. And went other places for shopping and lunch. And the shop only opens at 3pm. Was so excited when I entered the shop becaus I see familiar clothes and accessories that Jay has. Wanted to get a sneaker but I dint like what they had there so I got something else. Die die must buy something from there. Guess what! #14 The tired legs. #15 Then later we went to Shih Da night market. That was a place full of foooooooooooooood. Not much clothes. #16 We were attracted by these big apples. #17 I thought they were coated with chocolate eh. It was not lor. I was stupid. Its caramel. Bu hao chi. #18 They also had this stall which sells fries in various flavours. These are gooood!!! :) #19 This one also very nice. Muahahahahaa. #20 I love smelly tofu :) :) :) :)

Because I went to Taipei 101

And these are the pictures taken on my second day living on the place Jay Chou is right now, Taiwan. Muahahaha. I am going to annoy everyone with him ;p #01 Elaine and the empty street of Xi Men Ting in the morning. #02 Me and the very delicious fried carrot cake bought at a breakfast stall. It was my pre-breakfast. Haha. #03 McDonalds was my main meal. I ate Sausage McMuffin in PORK! WA VERY YUMMY LOR. Hahaha. #04 Random shot of a random guy on a scooter. Haha. #05 Bubble tea again! And I thought I started to hate my fringe therefore I need caps. I bought a lot of them in the Shih Lin night market in great deals. This is one of my favourite. I love the colours combination. #06 Another random shot I took before crossing the street. #07 Crossed the street and got into the taxi. And during the way to somewhere, we passed by this street, where all camera shops are located. Like almost a hundred of them. Seriously. They have a whole stretch of camera shops eh. #08 And about 15 minutes later, we reached Taipei 101; the tallest building on earth. Oh well, they have a very very high class shopping mall in there and it was so high class that we dint feel comfortable being in there. Hahahahaha. Still prefer night market ;p #09 Dint want to "waste" the journey there and so, we went to the observatory area. It was on the 89th floor of the tower. Something like KL Tower but they have the world fastest lift. It took us only 35 seconds to reach the 89th floor. Yer. And time seemed to be passing faster when they provided visual food like the lightings effect in the lift. #10 View from the 89th floor. It was misty and the glass was kinda dirty therefore the pictures arent very clear ;p #11 Failed camwhoring with the view because of the stupid backlight. I do not want to on flash. Hahahahaha. #12 Look at those mini toy cars! Haha. #13 "I want to be as tall as Taipei 101" #14 Next, we went up to the 91st floor for outdoor observatory. #15 The people I went to Taiwan with :) #16 Elaine and I camwhoring on the 91st floor; and it made no different camwhoring at anywhere else. Cheh. #17 A random jump at a placed that was reported only 2 degree celcius. But I think it was only 10-15 degree celcius eh. Because that was all I was wearing and wasnt freezing yet. Hahaha. #18 Later, we headed to the 88th floor for a so-called Suprising Walk Outerspace and Above Cloud. And take a look at te picture above again, that was SUPRISING! #19 The very cute giant paint of Taipei 101 and the surroundings. Damn cute :) And then after that we headed to the very famous wholesalers in Taipei, Wu Fen Pu. It was highly recommended in TV shows by celebrities. But damn, to me, the place is sucky. Seriously. The clothes are more costy and ugly than those in the night markets eh. Kena tipu already. But the snacks there are damn good. I am officially in love with the ice blended Yakult there. Very yummy ah. I want to drink it now!!!! It was NT40 for a cup, not cheap though. #20 I had like pancakes with peanuts, mini cakes and also er.. little eggs? Hahha. I dont know how to name them but they tasted damn gooooooooooooooooooooood. Muahahahaha. I miss Taiwan food. Then then we left the place after the food, it was like 30 minutes later. We went back to the hotel, settle down and shopped at Xi Men Ting at night till late. No pictures were taken then. My hands and eyes are fully occupied with food and clothes. Hahahahahaha. And I'll continue my day 3 tomorrow! :D

Welcome to Tai-One

And I'm back from Taiwan. It was fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun. I am officially in love with the food in Taiwan, also the wheater because I can wear all my long sleeves clothes already. Haha. I want to go to Taiwan again, to do more shopping. But I cant rant more because I need to catch up my college works since I skipped college for a week. Pictures with long descriptions for now :p #01 A mini joke happened when my aunt sat at the wrong side of the taxi because she dint realise that Taiwanese drive at the left and not the right. Haha. I felt weird everytime I see cars passing by me at a different direction on my left side. Haha. #02 My aunt, mum to my lovely cousin, Elaine who spent a lot to bring me there. Thank you. #03 My first lunch in Taiwan. "Ru Rou Fan" the very very yummy stew pork rice. One bowl like this costed only NT20 eh. Its so yummy and fufilling. I ate this everyday when I was in Taiwan. #04 Is it just me or the milk teas in Taiwan are just better than the ones here. Hahaha. #05 Even the "zhen zu", the pearls in the drink (haha) are tastier. #06 A random shot of the sky in Taipei. Besides this picture, all skies are seen to be gloomy, greyish and misty eh. No blue skies and white clouds. #07 Xi Men Ting, one hot shopping spot in Taipei. #08 Shops in Taipei have very very interesting and colourful advertising boards. #09 Rainbow Hotel, the place we stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. It is not a very high class hotel but it is located in a very cool place lor. Once you step out of the hotel, you see cloooooooooooooooothes and foooooooooooooood! #10 And shopping started right after our lunch. Muahahaha. These little colourful pouches are all over the shops. They are pretty and cheap. Only NT100 for a small one. #11 And I am still making fun of the way Taiwanese greet their customers when they step in the shop. "Huan ying guang ling!" #12 SHOPPING!! First day already gila-gila about shopping! Muahahahaha. #13 Nerdy glasses are everywhere! It is like a must have thing there! #14 Because girls cant resist BIG MIRRORS. #15 One of the best food around, "Oh Ah Mee Sua". Damn nice! Everyone have to eat standing one. Hahahahaha. And it was ard NT45 per bowl, I think. #16 And they have Starbucks almost everywhere. Why their Starbucks so nice one ah? #17 The plushies' vending maching. Very pinkish lor. Even their uniforms are THAT pink. #18 I like the brown monster and Elaine likes the Shinchan's doggie. But well, they are a little too expensive, NT100 for a try :( #19 The night view of Xi Men Ting. #20 It was around 8pm when we left our place to another place. We took the MRT there and it was very similar with the ones in Singapore. #21 Elaine, and the Xi Men sign board. #22 And then, we reached Shih Lin night market. It was a quick journey though. AND I LOVE THE NIGHT MARKET A LOT. ARGH! #23 I was concentrating in shopping and too busy to take pictures then. I only started to take pictures again when I settled down with FOOD! Because we love IKEA

This is our first trip to IKEA together as we need to buy something, to make something very special for a friend who has a very special birthday, Bryan Chong last month on the 29th. We also took this mini trip as an excuse to craze around IKEA. Hahahahaha. Here comes the pictures spamming (as usual)! #01 Carmen and I, trying to fit in the kids' chairs. Spreading Jay-ism part3

And this was what happened after Jay left the stage. Everyone was like, "HUH? No more already?" But onviously, they wanted us to shout for encore. Some of the people from the back of the VVIP corner rushed to the front. Understood. Their actions were totally understood because I might do the same thing too if I were seated behind. Not some actually, a lot of them, mostly young girls ran to the front, in front of me and shouted, "Encore! Encore! Encore!" And I joined them in shouting that, "Encore! Encore! Encore!" Suddenly, I changed my mind, I shouted, "SIT DOWN! SIT DOWN! SIT DOWN!" very very loudly and fierce in Mandarin. Omg. I cant believe I did that. Obviously they were stunned. They stared at me and I continued shouting until all of them squat down in front *_* I'm not being bitchy but they are seriously blocking everyone. I thought they would sit or squat down after awhile but they dint. They took the place like their territory. Damn selfish right. They were frightened lar. Cindy was too. And I think they bitched about me. And aunties and uncles behind were praising me! Hahaha because I helped them. Mind them, there were so many elderlies and even a handicap lady behind them. Right after they hide their stupid heads away from our sight, Jay came out!! Hahahahahaha. Was right on time. #64 Jay Chou came out with a drum set at the left side of the stage. And he was playing... some random music I supposed. Hahaha. #65 Then left the drum and came to the middle singing his latest song, Zhou Da Xia, the song for his latest movie, Kung Fu Dunk. #66 Everyone was shouting singing "TOFU! TOFU!" at the chorus part when he offered us the mic, as if lar. Then the girls went out of control again. Man. Cant they just go back to their seats where they were supposed to be. They should have behave. I went mad again because I could not see Jay, cant take pictures of him. All I can see his heads of people. This time, I could not shout because the music was so loud. I snatched the "bubble stick" or whatever you call it that was given by the sponsor, Munchies and tapped on their heads and shoulder, "Excuse me, can sit down or go back to your places or not? You're like freaking blocking our views." in Chinese. Some listened and some dint bothered. Fine! Then a few security guards went to them but they were not listening either. Then finally the auntie, friend of the handicap later was so mad and she took the "bubble stick" and whacked them "HELLO. WE NO NEED TO SEE LAR LIKE THAT!" in a very auntie slang of Cantonese. Hahahaha. Then I added, "Serve you right!" I was so mean but I was allowed to be mean for a day because I was wearing the tee with print "LITTLE MISS BAD". Hahahahaha. Lame, I know. All this happened like in a few minutes lar. They also feel paiseh after they got scolding from the auntie, they should feel paiseh. Then all of them squated down. And there was one uncle who looked at me as if he wanted to fight :( #66 I think I'll like this picture a lot if it isnt blur. Haha. And Jay, please stop going to the backstage and change so often. Please. Because when you left the stage again, those people rushed to the front again. This time, the amount of people was uncountable. Even Cindy wanted to stand up because we really cannot see anything at all. See lar these people. The security guards also cannot control. Even worst when Jay came back to the stage. #67 I cannot see anything from my spot anymore. I cannot take it anymore and I ran towards the stage. Hahahahaha. Kidding.
