My 4th day in Taiwan

As for the fourth day, we went to a place in Taipei called Jeou Fen. It is a place like Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. We took the public bus there, NT90 per person and it took us roughly 1 and the half hours to reach up the hill.

#01 While in the bus, Taipei city's street has a lot of traffic lights!

#02 I think I was on some bridge. It was a nice position that allowed me to see Taipei 101 and people at the right hand side playing baseball. Taiwanese adore baseball a lot eh!

#03 Awhile later, we reached there. The wheather there was so niiiiiiiiiceeeeeeeee. So many people and so many stalls. So many food too. Mini chili shrimps. Very nice :)

#04 You see, so many humans.

#05 SO many pretty seashells for sale :) NT100 for one.

#06 So many mochi for sales.

#07 And this, its ice-cream popiah. So cool right!

#08 Bing tong wu lou.

#09 And this, very very yummy. Its potato chips. But but but, its a one whole potato potong-ed nicely so that they are still in ONE. Got cheese, seaweed, curry, BBQ and many more flavours eh!

#10 The view from up the hill :)

#11 And me.

#12 And I spotted this pink tree eh.

#13 Camwhoring again. Hehehehe.

#14 Very pretty pink guava I found at the stalls there.

#15 And a basket of oranges the people were drying up. Random eh.

#16 Sunflower.

#17 And we found a very cute jacket.

#18 Found causeway bay too. Hahahahahaha.

#19 They sell very cheap vintage phone. NT390 for one only!

#20 I took a lot of random shots. Slipper.

#21 Old fashion letter box. And it belongs to people who stays there.

#22 I like the place. I like the food and the streets. Its so vintage, I think it would be a cool set for shootings.

#23 Random old-fashion lantern.

#24 AH! And I spotted a very very very cute baby. See, so cute.

#25 Something more random,we bought a magic cube and put my cousin brother on the magic cube test.

#26 He took about 3 minutes to solve the magic cube. Maybe it was because of the place, we recorded this at the side of the street, he was pressured. Usually he can finish it up in a minute.

And we left the place in the afternoon. Took the same bus again. And during the way back to the town, we passed by thousands of shops. And I spotted a shop!

#27 You'll regconise this shop if you watch the Taiwan drama, Why Why Love. :)

Then then, we went back to hotel. Took a rest and continued shopping at Shih Lin night market! Hahahahaha. And because it was a Saturday night, the place was damn crowded. We were all like sardin fishes. We had to walk sticking to eat other. Ish. Lucky, we still get to do our last buy there. Hehehe. And that was how I spent my last night in Taipei.

My 3rd day in Taiwan

#01 The first picture I took on that day. A candid one while waiting for our breakfast.

#02 Ru Rou Fan again. I miss it like mad now...........

#03 The very delicious fried carrot cake, and Oh Ah Jian, the oysters fried egg.

#04 A bubble tea a day, keeps us happy! Hahahahaha.

#05 After the breakfast, we walked around looking for a place that we can change our Singapore dollars to Taiwan dollars. Suprisingly, they do not have money changer like we can find in KL and Singapore. Their banks do not accept Singapore dollars either. Quite ridiculous right? And we had to walk around town about an hour plus to the main office of the Taiwan Bank. Shit. So bad lar the service. Ish. But looking at the bright side, we did a lot of shopping while looking for the bank. And I bought this pink sweater which I refer it to Tong Jia Di jacket because of the Taiwan series, Why Why Love. Hahaha.

#06 And there was this fruit stall that caught our attentions with ther very colourful fruits.

#07 They looked very delicious and only looked delicious. Hahaha. But nevermind, they costed us only NT40 for a box like this.

#08 Little tomatoes.

#09 "We are tourists mar, so we can take whatever pictures. Haha"

#10 Later hor, we took taxi to one of the place where I have planned to go ever since the day I know I am going to Taiwan. GUESS WHERE!

#11 Phantaci. Or else pronounced as Fantasy. The shop owned by JAY CHOU! My outfit super matching hor!

#12 His shop freaking hard to find lor. It was our second attempt and obviously we failed he first. And when we were there, the shop wasnt open yet. It was freaking 1pm already eh.

#13 So we took pictures with the door first lor. Hahahahahahaha. And went other places for shopping and lunch. And the shop only opens at 3pm. Was so excited when I entered the shop becaus I see familiar clothes and accessories that Jay has. Wanted to get a sneaker but I dint like what they had there so I got something else. Die die must buy something from there. Guess what!

#14 The tired legs.

#15 Then later we went to Shih Da night market. That was a place full of foooooooooooooood. Not much clothes.

#16 We were attracted by these big apples.

#17 I thought they were coated with chocolate eh. It was not lor. I was stupid. Its caramel. Bu hao chi.

#18 They also had this stall which sells fries in various flavours. These are gooood!!! :)

#19 This one also very nice. Muahahahahaa.

#20 I love smelly tofu :) :) :) :)

Because I went to Taipei 101

And these are the pictures taken on my second day living on the place Jay Chou is right now, Taiwan. Muahahaha. I am going to annoy everyone with him ;p

#01 Elaine and the empty street of Xi Men Ting in the morning.

#02 Me and the very delicious fried carrot cake bought at a breakfast stall. It was my pre-breakfast. Haha.

#03 McDonalds was my main meal. I ate Sausage McMuffin in PORK! WA VERY YUMMY LOR. Hahaha.

#04 Random shot of a random guy on a scooter. Haha.

#05 Bubble tea again! And I thought I started to hate my fringe therefore I need caps. I bought a lot of them in the Shih Lin night market in great deals. This is one of my favourite. I love the colours combination.

#06 Another random shot I took before crossing the street.

#07 Crossed the street and got into the taxi. And during the way to somewhere, we passed by this street, where all camera shops are located. Like almost a hundred of them. Seriously. They have a whole stretch of camera shops eh.

#08 And about 15 minutes later, we reached Taipei 101; the tallest building on earth. Oh well, they have a very very high class shopping mall in there and it was so high class that we dint feel comfortable being in there. Hahahahaha. Still prefer night market ;p

#09 Dint want to "waste" the journey there and so, we went to the observatory area. It was on the 89th floor of the tower. Something like KL Tower but they have the world fastest lift. It took us only 35 seconds to reach the 89th floor. Yer. And time seemed to be passing faster when they provided visual food like the lightings effect in the lift.

#10 View from the 89th floor. It was misty and the glass was kinda dirty therefore the pictures arent very clear ;p

#11 Failed camwhoring with the view because of the stupid backlight. I do not want to on flash. Hahahahaha.

#12 Look at those mini toy cars! Haha.

#13 "I want to be as tall as Taipei 101"

#14 Next, we went up to the 91st floor for outdoor observatory.

#15 The people I went to Taiwan with :)

#16 Elaine and I camwhoring on the 91st floor; and it made no different camwhoring at anywhere else. Cheh.

#17 A random jump at a placed that was reported only 2 degree celcius. But I think it was only 10-15 degree celcius eh. Because that was all I was wearing and wasnt freezing yet. Hahaha.

#18 Later, we headed to the 88th floor for a so-called Suprising Walk Outerspace and Above Cloud. And take a look at te picture above again, that was SUPRISING!

#19 The very cute giant paint of Taipei 101 and the surroundings. Damn cute :)

And then after that we headed to the very famous wholesalers in Taipei, Wu Fen Pu. It was highly recommended in TV shows by celebrities. But damn, to me, the place is sucky. Seriously. The clothes are more costy and ugly than those in the night markets eh. Kena tipu already. But the snacks there are damn good. I am officially in love with the ice blended Yakult there. Very yummy ah. I want to drink it now!!!! It was NT40 for a cup, not cheap though.

#20 I had like pancakes with peanuts, mini cakes and also er.. little eggs? Hahha. I dont know how to name them but they tasted damn gooooooooooooooooooooood. Muahahahaha. I miss Taiwan food.

Then then we left the place after the food, it was like 30 minutes later. We went back to the hotel, settle down and shopped at Xi Men Ting at night till late. No pictures were taken then. My hands and eyes are fully occupied with food and clothes. Hahahahahaha.

And I'll continue my day 3 tomorrow! :D

Welcome to Tai-One

And I'm back from Taiwan. It was fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun. I am officially in love with the food in Taiwan, also the wheater because I can wear all my long sleeves clothes already. Haha. I want to go to Taiwan again, to do more shopping. But I cant rant more because I need to catch up my college works since I skipped college for a week. Pictures with long descriptions for now :p

#01 A mini joke happened when my aunt sat at the wrong side of the taxi because she dint realise that Taiwanese drive at the left and not the right. Haha. I felt weird everytime I see cars passing by me at a different direction on my left side. Haha.

#02 My aunt, mum to my lovely cousin, Elaine who spent a lot to bring me there. Thank you.

#03 My first lunch in Taiwan. "Ru Rou Fan" the very very yummy stew pork rice. One bowl like this costed only NT20 eh. Its so yummy and fufilling. I ate this everyday when I was in Taiwan.

#04 Is it just me or the milk teas in Taiwan are just better than the ones here. Hahaha.

#05 Even the "zhen zu", the pearls in the drink (haha) are tastier.

#06 A random shot of the sky in Taipei. Besides this picture, all skies are seen to be gloomy, greyish and misty eh. No blue skies and white clouds.

#07 Xi Men Ting, one hot shopping spot in Taipei.

#08 Shops in Taipei have very very interesting and colourful advertising boards.

#09 Rainbow Hotel, the place we stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. It is not a very high class hotel but it is located in a very cool place lor. Once you step out of the hotel, you see cloooooooooooooooothes and foooooooooooooood!

#10 And shopping started right after our lunch. Muahahaha. These little colourful pouches are all over the shops. They are pretty and cheap. Only NT100 for a small one.

#11 And I am still making fun of the way Taiwanese greet their customers when they step in the shop. "Huan ying guang ling!"

#12 SHOPPING!! First day already gila-gila about shopping! Muahahahaha.

#13 Nerdy glasses are everywhere! It is like a must have thing there!

#14 Because girls cant resist BIG MIRRORS.

#15 One of the best food around, "Oh Ah Mee Sua". Damn nice! Everyone have to eat standing one. Hahahahaha. And it was ard NT45 per bowl, I think.

#16 And they have Starbucks almost everywhere. Why their Starbucks so nice one ah?

#17 The plushies' vending maching. Very pinkish lor. Even their uniforms are THAT pink.

#18 I like the brown monster and Elaine likes the Shinchan's doggie. But well, they are a little too expensive, NT100 for a try :(

#19 The night view of Xi Men Ting.

#20 It was around 8pm when we left our place to another place. We took the MRT there and it was very similar with the ones in Singapore.

#21 Elaine, and the Xi Men sign board.

#22 And then, we reached Shih Lin night market. It was a quick journey though. AND I LOVE THE NIGHT MARKET A LOT. ARGH!

#23 I was concentrating in shopping and too busy to take pictures then. I only started to take pictures again when I settled down with FOOD! I love Taiwan's foooooooood.

#25 Yummy x 56789030987654323456789098765434567!!!!

And after our dinner and supper, we went back to the hotel. Slept. And I was really looking forward to the next day eh! I love Taiwan :) Okay okay, and again, I'm gonna continue my second day at Taiwan in a second post. Hehehehe.

Why am I happy?

I'm back with a little disappointment, seriously but with much more excitement. Hehe. I was supposed to attend Jay Chou's mini birthday celebration in Singapore before his concert but the event was cancelled almost last minute, at least I knew it after all my preparations and also after I bought my bus tickets to Singapore. However, I still insist on going lar because I wanted to have fun over there ;p

First thing I thought in mind was to visit their brand new shopping mall, Vivo City which was then overrated to me. Bugis is still the best :)It isnt bad afterall at Vivo City its just I expected it to be more. Hahaha I really like the location of the place where Sentosa Island is just right opposite of the place. I WANT TO GO TO SENTOSA ISLAND!

So bascially I spent my weekends in Singapore shopping in Vivo City and my all time favourite place in Singapore, Bugis. I bought quite alot of things lar. And I know I should stop lar. But there is one thing that I must buy in Bugis. Guess what? TUTUCAKE! For people who doesnt know what the heck is Tutucake, well, I cant explain it any better than telling you that its one of the best kuih I've ever eaten. Haha.

My cousin told me that they have a brand new flavour for it, chocolate but it wasnt available for now. So sad right? I havent tried it before. Anyway, there is Tutucake in Malaysia but it sucks.

Another happy moment in Singapore besides shopping with Elaine, eating tutucake would be the camwhoring session with my little baby, Kaiwen. She's more vain than Tammie lor. She would use my camera and take pictures of herself, by herself ignoring me, putting me out of the screen.

And this would be my favourite picture of me and her because she's so happy! And actually I'm quite tired to blog. That's why you can see me typing funnily right now. It's all so rojak-ed. Last but not least, why am I so happy besides going shopping with Elaine, eating tutucake and camwhoring with Kaiwen, its because............. someone made my christmas wish come true!!! WEE! I asked for a Creative Stone and it is what I get :)

Who's the santa?

And there she is, Elaine my lovely cousin who is removing her braces soon :) Thank you you so much! :D

Genting Trip Part 1

This was what we did last night in Genting Highlands' First World Hotel. Girls have always been girls - the camera lovers. :)

From the left, they are Janice, Joan and Joyee.

I was so happy bullying them, until I heard them complaining. And decided to take their revenge on me.

Anyway, forgive me for my ugliness in these pictures. You are seeing my naked face. Then, here are some other pictures.

Playing with the yellowish white wall behind.

Joyee trying to imitate Jay and Joan as the mad fan. ;p

Wa! We camwhored until 1.30am leh. Hahaha. We dint realised until I felt so tired and sleepy. Ish... I'm feeling very sleepy now too, because er... too much of camwhoring. ;p Let's sleep and let me continue part 2 soon!

Snaps at Singapore

The purple orchid.

Ivan had fever at one night and was okay the next morning (after puking).

So young camwhore already leh!

A mini and a giant wanted to whack me with the massaging sticks.

And she was so excited when she saw me "dead" after the whackings.

Both my cousins. :) I like this, so natural and her toes are so clean. ;p

Kaiwen refused to let me take her picture so I took the tree.

But later, she gave in because I let her see herself in my flipping screen. ;p

I've got my fringe trimmed in the saloon where I permed my hair on 31st Dec of 2005.

Shreks attack!

The "white" Shreks under the brigh lightings.

And I caught a Shrek playing Maple.

Tadaa! Nice ears boy! :)

Bugis' Day

Did I mentioned that I want to go to Bugis Village? I must be stupid, because the place its Bugis Street. Hahaha. Its the biggest street shopping in Singapore. And Me, bring stupid brought long sleeve clothes here and who knows, the wheather here in Singapore is much more hotter than in KL. Like omg, I'm even sweating at home. So, I do not need to mention how sweaty was I in the street shopping.

I went there in the afternoon with my mum for shopping. But before that, we went to the famous temple in Bugis. The crowd there contribute more to my kepanasan leh. Plus the fire, candles and joss sticks. And that's why I did not take any picture of myself because I looked like shit, a sweat one. ;p

And the first thing that came across my mind when I reached bugis was, TUTUCAKE! Cannot cannot miss it. When I was taking the pictures of the cake, the stall's uncle stared at me, "Are you doing a food journal?" Me,"No. Just taking because I cant eat it at my place..." :) And then, we started talking and he ask me to start the business here in KL. Haha.

It was very hot and tiring, and sad. Because I left only SD30 in my wallet. What can I buy in the largest street shopping here in Singapore with only that amount of money!? Ish. But I did grab some cheap stuffs.

I bought SHE's lastest album which cost me only SD8. Nono, its not pirated but its China's original CDs. I'm not sure why they are so much cheaper. Besides Jay Chou's albums, I would not spend so much lar, so no choice I buy China goods. Better than pirated okay. I bought nice earrings and a pretty bling which is SD7. And a suprise stuff that I'll reveal later back in my home sweet home. :)

And also a copy of Singapore's Seveteen magazine. Speaking of that, I received a call from KL today, form Seventeen! They asked me for a photoshot. I damn happy okay because I wanted this since quite sometime ago. But my heart breaks when they told me its on tomorrow! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( Sigh.

Later at six, my mum and I decided to head home because we were exhausted untill we saw a stage far far away. It's Rainie Yang! She's here for her new lesbian movie, Spider Lilies. She's going be here at 0615pm, as stated on the giant poster backdrop. So, my mum and I decided to stay longer to see the cute little Rainie. Mana I tau she was there 1 hour and 35 minutes late. Waited and waited until we gave up. We went back to a shop in the street shopping to get my mum's shade. We were quite disappointed. But when we were heading back to the MRT station, we saw her on the stage already! Ish. I was so near in the begining. And now, all the way behind the crowd. I cannot take a decent picture of here. The best picture taken (ewwww) is as below;

She's the one in red lar. I zoomed in to the maximum and that's what I could take when the crowd was pushing and squeezing. And then we left lor after awhile because we memang very tired and hungry already. Sigh. And it was almost 8 when we left.

And I call it a day, at Bugis.

That day, Yesterday and Today...

Last Thursday where I went to movie sponsored by Nuffnang with Ginny and Hui Yat. These pictures are taken with Ginny's Canon Ixus when mine died on me. We had our dinner at Ah Tuan Ee's before the movie. :)

Yesterday, we camwhore at our working place when I received my new memory card. From left to right, Joan, the girl who is going to marry. And she's only 18 this year. Celine, the girl who makes me feel ashamed singing infront of her. Her singing rocks! Me! And my closest colleague, Joyee who has a very big pair of eyes but does not make use of it. ;p

Today, when we reached Singapore, the first thing we did was to take a picture of all of us (the cousins). From left to right for the first picture, (top) Me-19, Elaine-19 and Sean-15. (bottom) John-15, Ivan-6, Berrie-3 and Tammie-5. Whether you believe it or not, this is the first time the 7 of us could gather together and take pictures together. I wonder when can we take like, the whole family. It will be kinda hard I think because we're all apart in KL and Singapore.

And I did shopping today too. I went to the new shopping mall, Ang Mo Kio Hub. Suprisingly, the stuffs there are good. I bought quite alot of things because they were on sales okay! Which girl can resist from big sales one you tell me la!

These are what I bought. A black and white stripes V neck top which I have been hunting for. It costed me SD20. A pair black pumps which is alo SD20 to replace my old one. The old one damn kesian already. Hahahaha. A hyper sweet and cute PINK car sign written "Babe on board!" Hahaha. I've not seen in anywhere in KL leh. And instead of orange and yellow in colour, its PINK! :D Its only SD9. And two very cute notebook with doodlings on the cover. Very my-feel. Hahaha. There are only SD2 each. ANd lastly, a big and funny eraser which looks like Levi's tha cost me SD3. I dont know why I bought it but.. its cute lar. ISH!

Next stop, I mau pergi Bugis Village, Sentosa and Vivo City, but I left only SD30 (because I havent receive my salary, the previous savings are all spent on my Canon) and 3 days. :(

Singapore, here I come!

Singapore sales, here I come! Yay! I'll be leaving KL on Monday and probably be back in a week's time. I'll be bringing my laptop along so you'll still see me online. I'll be bringing my camera too, so that I can feed my blog. I'll be receiving a new memory card tomorrow so that I can continue with the snappings. Yay! No more frustrations. :)

On the plane...

The trip to Kuching was very tiring. I dont even have enough sleep there. We had to work from 9am-10pm for 3 days straight, with my 3 inches heels. I had no time to go around the town, no time to play, no time to snap pictures during my trip.

The only time I could snap pictures were the time when I'm on the flight. I dont think I'm even allowed to do so but............ I did it!

I was taking this picture with a handful of bags! I wanted to take a close up picture when I'm on the way up the the plane, but I could not. There's no one to help me with the bags.

It was free seating in AirAsia's plane. So, I get to choose the place I wanted to sit which is beside the wing of the vehicle. The sky was very clear and bright during the journey to Kuching. I even saw a rainbow from far. Look at the clouds in the picture above, isn't it beautiful!!

The vain me who was camworing when my room mate cum colleague was bathing. That is our room, in Harbour View hotel (beside Hilton Hotel). Oh yes, I have to walk to work everyday. And that's my bed on the right.

The Kolo Mee, which is also known as the Sarawak Mee I had during work. Its nice and cheap! I always wanted to try this mee because KennySia always promote it in his blog. It tastes somehow like KL's wantan mee without the black sauce.

And I take no more pictures in Kuching as I dont have time for it. I remember there was a photographer during the event. Perhaps I can ask him for the pictures. :) But I continued taking pictures in the plane later, on the way back to KL.

I saw the air stewardess asking some other passengers not to take but I still do without their knowledge. How can I resist from taking pictures of such beautiful scenes. I will die of regrets later for sure. How often do I go on a plane?

The sky was even prettier on the Monday's afternoon. My colleagues and I got so excited on the plane and at the same time, we were very careful so that no one caught us doing that on the plane. I know its wrong. But I cant help it :(

We did not forget to camwhore beside taking the pictures of scenery outside the window of the plane.

I'm ugly! (*&^$@^%(%

Joyee, my best friend colleague and Shean Loong

Unfortunately, the flight duration was not long enough for more pictures. Although I was about a 100 minutes flight, but we had to minus the time where the people on plane were walking around. Hahaha. We had to take these pictures when they were not around.

The mini keychain Joyee bought. It was her first time on a plane!

The two of us in the car, on the way back to Hartamas. And there ends the photolog of my trip. :) View here for more pictures!

Leaving on a Jetplane

I'll be leaving to Kuching when the clock strikes 12pm tomorrow. And I'll be back on the coming Monday. I'll not be bringing my laptop along; I'm afraid that I'll lose you. Maybe I dont even have time to come online. So, there will be no post updates until I'm back!

No, I'm not going for a vacation but I do have a job on. I'll be working for my jewellery shop in a Bridal and Jewellery show in Kuching's Hilton Hotel for 3 days. I hope everything there will run smoothly. Once again, thank you Ginny for lending me your dresses for my function and Carmen too, who lend me your MP3 to kill my boredom there. Thanks.

p/s : If you do want to look for me, feel free to drop me a message in my comment box or even send me a mail! :)

See you!

Tutu Cake in S'pore

No joke. I was cheated to come over Singapore this time. I thought I was going to have a new laptop that's why i agreed to come over for a couple of days before my exam. Dream dashes when i know there is no laptop for me at the moment. Sigh. But wth my brother has a new phone. He has got the Nokia N73!!!!! Crazy?!?!?!?!?!?! I want it tooooooooo. I know I sound greedy.

No laptop, no phone, at least some cash lar please. Or not how am I going to shop here. Was very disappointed actaully. No nothing. But lucky, I've got a few hours to spend in Bugis with Elaine where I spent around 40 bucks only. Yeah, that's everything I have in my wallet. I saw so many pretty clothes, shoes and acssesories but I cant take them home. So sad right. I fell in love with a top, a shorts and a pair of earring but I can choose only one of them. ;(

And a bit of money to eat my favourite kuih here in Singapore, the tu-tu cake.

I know most Malaysian do not have any idea on this tutu stuff. Here, I can only show you how they look like but I cant tell you how tasty they are until you come and try yourself here, only in Singapore, so far I know!

They are not char siew pau okay! ;p Basically, they are just peanut covered with flour. But you can never imagine the combination of both these items, they will bring you magic. Because they are absolutely delicious!!!! Those you can find in KL are made from brown sugar. Like, eww? Must try them whenever you're at Singapore. They are available at almost everywhere and they arecheap!! It cost you only $D2 for 5 pieces of tutu cake ;)

But one thing, never take Yakult drink with tutu cake. They will cause your tummy to bloat like us both! ;p We did suffered for awhile. Hahaha.

PD Beach Clean Up

It was yesterday, 0600am when I left my house heading to my campus along with Cindy who woke up late. Both of us were extra I thought. We missed the briefing meeting a day before because we had no class on Friday and wasn't around the campus. It would be funny if I take a 60 mins train trip to Pj for the short briefing and return back using another hour. Its kinda time wasting so I decided to risk but I didnt know that there was some other friends who went to the briefing.

The student were told to wear JEANS and SPORT SHOE to the beach because there will be some guest and press around BUT I turned up with SHORTS and SANDALS! And we were also given a RED HUGE tee shirt to wear on. The shirt is even longer than my shorts!!! ;( I felt so shitty in the begining because I was so odd. I thought jeans would be hot and my sport shoes would be dirty so I planned it another way round. BUT honestly, I've some advantage comparing to the others because they were all so dirty due to the unpredictable rain before the program. I was able to wash myself and play on the shore. HEE.

As soon as we arrived the Ilham hotel, after the rain, we were splitted up into groups of 10. Me, Cindy, Lilian, Cynthia, Behonce, Caroline (the red fellows in the picture above), Wina and Martha (2 quite Indonesian girls). We were the dark purple team led by Arwen.

And right after everyone was divided into groups and stuffs, the rubbish picking event started off. We were rather disappointed when we saw the shore. The beach is so freaking small because the tide was high yesterday. The amount of rubbish pickers can even cover more than half of the beach. We can't complain lar, hahahahaha.

We were not allowed to pick up nature stuffs like crabs, fishes and shells, even if they are dead, wooden stick, seaweed and bla bla bla. We were told not to pick up glasses too. We had to inform our leader if we found them and Arwen ended up running here and there, busy collecting the glasses we found, when we screamed for her. Hahaha. We can actaully do it by our own. ;) Ooh yeah, we made the only guy in our group the rubbish holder. Hahaha. And hey, I did picked up alot of rubbish too okay! One hand rubbish, another hand camera. ;p

I found some very cute sand castles when we were walking around the whole beach. And some very cute kids too.

Beside the students from Taylor's College, the candidates of the National Service joined the program too! And my friend just said something quite mean yet funny about them. Me, "How come so few of Chinese one?" Lilian, "Because, the Chineses became the Malays, the Malays became the Indians and the Indians turned to be a Nigroo." HAHAHA. Meanie her.

It was time and Arwen led us back to the starting point. On the way back, we realised that our rubbish bag was INCOMPARABLE with the others because their's were HUGE and HEAVY. And we knew, we lost. Sigh sigh sigh.

A group picture we took after that. The guy who took this picture cropped the rubbishs we found. We were not bad too okay? We found the BBQ thingy which we consider that as a unwanted stuff. Hahaha. Right after that, we weighed our rubbish and its only 15Kg. ;( So light. Because most of the stuffs we found were object made up of papers and plastics. Unlike the others, they even put stone and tyres in. *_* And now, time to analyse the rubbish.

Let's see what we've got in our bag. Straws, food & sweet wrappers, ciggarate putts, plastic bottles, glass bottles, bottle caps, fork & spoons, TOOTHBRUSH, plastic bags, toys, DIAPERS, ropes and many more many more. I found bread too. *_* The beaches here in our place are really dirty sometimes. Please dont throw any more things inside. I'm really sick of seeing those stuffs while picking them up. The only fun we had was, while fighting for it! Hahahaha.

After that, we went to the auditorium room for some LONG speechs. Especially the first speech given by the guest. It was long and unrelated to the event today. Its really boring and sorry I felt asleep. Then followed up by the guest from Shell, then the lady from MNS. Her speech was pretty interesting. ;) It was about the animals, humans and garbage. And next, the prize giving ceremony. Each of the participants were given a token, a gold/silver mug from shell. but i left mine behind! ;(

Then, we had 2 hours left before the bus arrives. So Eiran, brought us up the the lighthouse nearby by walking up a hill which was very tiring. On the way up, he said there was an old monkey looking at us. Hahaha. During the short journey, he told us a lot about the rainforest and the animals there. And finally, we reached the lighthouse!

He brought us up the lighthouse too. Erm, not IN the lighthouse butAROUND the lighthouse. Because we need permisson from tak tau siapa to enter the lighthouse. The place is so high up and so HOT! But but but but but, the view from above is FANTASTIC!

Hahahaha. The only picture I took with me solo. ;) Heee. Big right the shirt? Nice right the view? Hehehehe. Just one round around the place and we left heading back to the hotel. We got ourselves changed and freshen up before the bus arrives. Hehehe. And I slept all the way back to PJ in the bumpy bus. ;p

I actaully love the trip a lot! Made a alot of new friends from my campus and it is now more than just an assignment. I'm now really looking forward to the Redang Expidition next month and also the Malacca one, but the Malacca trip is not open for the students. ;(

Reunion @ Thai

Before I left Singapore yesterday, I had a reunion lunch with my mum and both her sisters and families. We're only sort of my grandparents and both my little cousins and its a full family reunion; which didn't happen for almost 5 years. I think the last time we had everyone together was during my uncle's marriage. This doesn't include my 3 little cousins. Hmmn. Its hard for us to have a gathering like this.

So yesterday, we went to Bishan's Junction 8 for our dinner and me pulling my lagguage all along in the complex when everyone started to stare at me. Lucky the colour of the bag and my outfit matched. Hahaha.

Thai Restaurant @ J8

While we were waiting for the food's arrival.....

They looked so alike that Elaine is afraid people would mistaken them with TWINS.

And here comes the food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was my second time eating there and the food there are still so yummy. Tee hee. This time, I ordered soemthing new to me there. The glass noodle with fish and tomyam soup. It sounds so delicious right? But no! It was toooooooooooooooooooooooooo spicy that almost every bite makes me choke. It is the bowl of mee in non-coloured soup; picture number2 row1. It doesn't look spicy at all right?!?!

And so, I pass it to my mum. I can't take it. REALLY. I ate her pineapple fried rice that was FABULOUS! And I too ate the fried glass noodle that Elaine ordered; picture1 row1. It was much more tastier than what I've ordered! Yummy yummy!!

I think everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is just too good. I wanna go there again!! Hahaha. But! Try not to order the Mango Sago there. The first time I had it, it was really awful I have to say. ;( The Mango Sago in Coca Restaurant is much more better! Hahaha.

And what's for dessert?? Red bean coconut ice-cream!! I think is was damn good that even my mum was trying to snatch that bowl of ice-cream from the others. Hahahaha.

Damn satisfied with that meal. But it would be better if I didn't order what looks nice and doesn't taste good earlier. ;(

And neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeext, we had something everyone love to eat...!!!

Cun right??!?!?!

The Sales In Singapore!

I thought I would never had the chance to shop during the BIG sales here in Singapore. The plan to come here to Singapore was rather sudden. Everything was planned last minute lar. But it is better than nothing! Kekekeke...

Silly me brought only long sleeves tops here. Hahahahaha. The wheather here is much HOTTER than in Malaysia. Ooh dear. No choice but to wear Elaine's bigger clothes. Hahahaha.

Bugis Street

Like I said yesterday, my target, BUGIS AND ORCHARD. YES! I went to both places within 5 hours this afternoon. Not with Elaine, (so sad) but nevermind, I was with my Mum who can pay for the stuffs, both my aunts and little KaiWen. ;)

And I really hate this. My camera's batteries always go flat when I need them!!! Great. I miss taking a lot of nice pictures for the day. I want a new camera! ;p You have to understand that humans are always greeeeeeeeeeeeeeedy. Teehee.

Teenage Cafe @ Bugis Village

Banana Fritter

We had a meal before we spend al our energy doing shopping and it was FABULOUSS! The banana fritter was so so so finger licking's good. And this giant banana cost only $D 1!!!!!!! Yummy yummy!!

Right after the energy collection, I started shopping like a mad girl. Muahahahahahhaaha. 3 hours later, I took taxi to Orchard! The crowd there was scary.! Is the place too small or the people too much?

In Taka's toilet. ;p

Wow. The first and only place I went in was Zara. The clothes there are real cheap after discount. Could not consider more, and I grabbed a few tops which I ended up buying 5 tops, a pair of flat gold shoes and 2 necklaces today. How much I spent? This is crazy. I dint realised the amount spent until I calculate them home. Almost, reaching $D200. WOW. I din't know I was that rich. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I told you I'm more willing to spend SingDollars. I will never shop like this in Malaysia. Weird right? Hahahahaha.

Hahahahaha. Enough of shopping I guess, for now. I want to go to the beach lar!!!!!!!!!!! Kl tak da. ;p

Hello From Singapore

Yes, I really did the exchange of 8 hours' car journey with an one day plus trip in Singapooore! And the sales is still here!! YAY! I think 24 hours is enough for me to turn broke after shoppings. ;p

Lucky I brought my salary here in case I "need" them. Muahahahahahaha. But let's see; because I HATE TO DO SHOPPING ALONE! Oh dear, yes! Elaine, my cousin will not be entertaining me for these few days as well as my mum I guess. Great. I should have dragged a girlfriend here with me.

BUGIS! ORCHARD! Here I come tomorrow!! Please, save the S-sizes for me!!

p/s : I've got a vacancy here as a promoter @ Sunway Lagoon for a temporary tattoo stall. Working time; 11am-6pm weekday, weekend 10am -6pm, 6 days week, Tuesdays off. The pay? Basic 700, +1.5% commision (include lunch). So it would be around 1K per month. If you're interested. Tell me as soon as possible! ;)
